Getting back on the band wagon to low or no carbs again after this weekend is over with. Wanna keep those 8lbs off plus what I gained since Jan lol

Got my fill again April 28th, 1.4 cc, then couldn't eat anything all weekend, went back May 2nd got .1 cc taken out, and lost 8 lbs in those 4 days. Have some decent restriction right now, could have a little more but just gonna watch more carefully what I eat.

Had a fill last month, then had to get it unfilled because it was to tight, now I am eating normally again and gained 5 lbs, next appt is in April, definately getting another fill.

I am doing pretty good, I am in need of another fill but my insurance keeps charging it as a surgery so they only pay 80% so I have to pay 200.00 for my part...bleh lol and can't do it now with the holidays so I will get it done in February. As long as I do not gain I am ok...how far are you down now?

Doing pretty good, thanks for asking, I am down 77 lbs since December 2009, I have about 50ish more to go for my own personal goal. I need to add some more recent pics. How have you been doing with your surgery?

Hi thanks for adding me, I was banded 12/18/2009, so far so good, just had my 3rd fill yesterday, and I am worried I might have some slippage, but I could have just ate something wrong. I am not vomiting or anything and I don't have heartburn or other signs... who knows lol.. Other than that, i am so happy i did this, I started at 321, now I am 274, and I have gained a tiny and lost it again plus more.... I am loving the new found energy that I have and I am alot more confident and my old self is coming back slowly but surely. How is it going for you???

Happy New Year! I am doing great, no pain, and I am getting up and moving, I can sleep on my sides and part of my stomach, wounds are pretty much healed and I have my post op appt on Monday. I see some people getting fills during surgery, that is crazy, I cannot get mine till 4-6 weeks after.

Hey gurl, just checking in and seeing how you are doing? How have you been!?

I am worried but I am taking my vitamins, and I did actually eat last night at a New Years Party, I just stayed away from carbs and dessert, and just ate some meat. I am starting to get a little appetite back but I am learning to make better choices. Luckily that 2 week pre op diet, and not being able to eat almost 2 weeks after the surgery helped me get rid of the cravings for bread and pasta and sweets. I am looking forward to my first fill as right now I have no restriction and I could probably go to a buffett and eat my usual amount if I wanted to. Luckily I don't want to lol!

It is sooo hard to do it! They wanted me drinking a gallon, and I can barely do half lol. I can tell you that each day I am getting more and more in. What I am scared of though is I have NO appetite, and just smelling food makes me ill. I have to force myself to eat something. Yesterday I ate 3 pieces of cheese for bfast, nothing at lunch and like 5 small shrimp at dinner! Do you have an appetite at all, has the gas subsided for you yet?

I was finally able to sleep on my side last night with little problems. I cannot wait till I can sleep on my stomach! I almost got sick last night, not sure if it was the gas. I been slowly walking and doing more each day, but I seem to get more nasteaus. I am sick of Jello!!! lol

Thanks, mine must be really tough then, I am going to call them Monday and see if I can go to full liquids, if I smell broth, I will vomit lol. I am already seeing the weight loss, I was 321 back on 12/04, and I am now 289. It is sooo exciting. I think I over did it today, I got a burst of energy, went shopping, did some cleaning and even did my hair and now I am hurting for some reason. I just can't wait till I am pain free!

Sure no problem, today the gas was finally bearable. I did find it easier to get up and down. I am starting to get an appetite but my Dr has me on clear liquids for TWO weeks ugh. What diet does your dr have you on? Did you stay overnight?
