I'm Banded and feeling Great! I can not wait to get to the nitricionist this week and get weighted because my scaled here says that I am down 30 lbs already... All I can say Is NO WAY??? Really? OMG I sure hope it is right!

Hey, I need to chat with you... getting extreamly nervous!!! Surgery is 1/12... Less than 48 hours. {{{YIKES}}}

Hi! I am so sorry I haven't answered you before now! When I got my surgery date I was on my way out of town for a week and then Thanksgiving and Now Christmas is getting in the way! Where does the time go???

I got a phone call today from the Surgeons scheduler. Stating that after January 1st they are only doing surgeries on Tuesdays... UGH! Talk about throwing a wrench into my not telling my boss at work and only taking a Long weekend to have it done!!! Now I have to take almost a full week and they have bumped the date up to the 12th instead of the 15th of January.

What a horrible thing for your BFbro to do to betray your confidence! And the wife UGH! can I just say she should be shot!!! I'm so sorry! I don't like discussing the weight with anyone either mine OR theirs! My husband is behind me fully and knows that I want no one to know. My 3 friends that know... I know that they will not tell anyone.

Ok, so this is my visitor posting. I'm a newbie, don't really know what to talk about except that I am really excited to change my life. I have not been banded yet. I am waiting on insurance approval. Have done all the qualification appointments, talked to all the people I can that live/are around me. Now, I have signed up for this site at the nudging of my surgeon. I do not intend on telling anyone of my surgical plans. The ones that know are 2 very close friends that support me wholeheartedly, my husband, and my boss will know when I get a date. My boss will be the hardest to tell, she's thin and hasn't ever had a weight problem. I only plan to be out of work 2 days. That is what my Dr is telling me it will be. I want to lose about 80 pounds and from the start of this journey 6 months ago (My first Surgeon consult) I have already lost 10 and just knowing that by doing the sensible eating thing helps me to know I am on the way to a better me.
