  1. Congratulations! Good Luck!
  2. the doctors are all so different! Mine leans more to carb restriction and low calorie. My protein shakes are 110 cals and 17grams of protein with very few carbs. I don't know what my stage two will have to offer for food but right now I could chew on the table leg! My last solid food was on 9/20, so I'm really looking forward to the next 8 days passing very quickly!
  3. WOW I envy you! I can have nothing but protein shakes and liquid until 10/12.

  8. Thanks Susan, I'm going minute by minute. It would be a bit easier if I didn't have to cook for a sick Hubby right now but hopefully this will make me stronger. I'm just jealous of the people that can have soup  LOL
  9. I'd kill for some broth or soup right now LOL but I know I have to go through this and it will get better!

  14. Have you tried the EAS shakes? I get mine from Walmart. they taste like chocolate milk made with skim milk. really not bad at all. Hope it gets easier for both of us!
  15. Hi, I'm Debbie. I was banded on 9/23, I've been reading lots of posts and can't believe how different the post op diets are. I'm having a terrible time, I'm very hungry. My last solid food was on 9/20. After my op they told me I couldn't have more than 3 ounces of liquid an hour. ( water, diet Snapple. tea w/o milk, no broth ) The nurse forgot to inform me that I was supposed to increase that intake the next day, so I was not doing to great at my post op app. They put me on 3 protien shakes a day I use the EAS ones they taste pretty good, and lquid ( again no soup or broth no vitamin water) I called my baratric groups office and they said to increase the drinks to 4. I have 8 more days of no food and I'm not sure I'm going to make it. right now broth would be wonderful!
