I popped a stitch 3 days after surgery, had blood gushing out, went to E/R, they superglued me back together, LOL, nothing happened though, I just overdid it aftr surgery, I wouldnt worry! Good Luck

I am only on 1 week since surgery, and the hungry monster has woken up! I guess I was expecting to not be as hungry, but I am all of sudden starving!!! I am feeling deflated mentally, I want this to work so much, I guess I was expecting to not be hungry as I used to be.....I am tired of the fluid's and want mushy food...the soups are getting boring and I just want to mash up some meatball or something......I can't wait till I get a fill!

Thanks all, its funny, the pain is in my left shoulder as well! I wonder why we all had in left shoulder... It really is horrible. I feel like someone is hitting me with a sledgehammer! Also, is it normal not to know if I am hungry or not? It's the strangest feeling! Thanks for the support

Just wanted to know how long you all have had to deal with the gas pains... its all in my left shoulder, it's almost intolerable....I am walking, gasx, but its still baddddd! I can't get much in me either, took me the entire day to get my protein shake in....I can't tell if I am full or not, but I knew I had to stop.....

Just had my surgery yesterday 10/1...came home from hospital today! Have some pain in the port area, and the gas pain is REALLY bad, I am sooo glad my doctor makes his patients stay overnight! I needed pain med all night...But I am so happy! Having a cup of tea now and I am full! thats a first! Good luck OCTOBER patients!

Hi Everyone! I am going in on 10/1... I start my 10 day liquid diet tomorrow....so of course, my crazy friends are taking me out tonight for my "last supper" Good luck everyone...anyone else going in on 10/1

Hi Everyone, my first post, and I have my surgery date of 10/1...in 20 days... I am soooo excited... I am having surgery by Dr. Geiss in Syosset...I live on Long Island.. He makes his patients stay overnight and I start my liquid diet in 10 days... I am so nervous but can't wait...My husband passed away in January from cancer, at the age of 49, I am 41, we have a 13 year old son, who I need to get healthy for!!! I am motivated...although has anyone had this issue.. I find myself wanting to eat EVERYTHING in sight all of a sudden... I just lost 52lbs on my own, but want to pig out!
