I am 24, I have always been over weight. I was atheletic since I was a little kid but I could never get rid of the extra pounds. I always stayed around 155 in high school. At the end of high school I weighed 190 so  I joined Golds Gym and the owner became my personal trainer pushing me to do different things that I didnt do in high school athletics which helped me to lose about 25-30lbs but also with the help of Phentermine... not the best thing but it worked... after about 2 years I ended up gaining it all back... I was active with work and always going 90 to nothing all day long and worked out every so often so I stayed some what in shape and was ok with my self... but after I finished college and began workin as a drafter sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day... nothing could help me and I sky rocketed up to 230. In that time I started to have horrible tummy problems and found out that I have IBS. So starting in May 2008 I started to eat a lot healthier to help with my tummy problem and started to work out again everyday and walking my dogs at least a mile every evening... well nothing helped I was still gaining weight! So after I got married in Decemeber I decided to quit the drafting job for my health so I wouldnt end up at like 500lbs. I went back to my old job where I ran around all day going 90 to nothing again. I also started going to a boot camp in town and working out everyday at home (I have an entire gym set up in my spare bedroom) So I was lifting weights and running everyday for 3 months straight (this was in Feb 09) ... and didnt lose anything! didnt even go down a size which isnt normal for me! Its always been hard to lose weight but never that hard... so i slacked on the running and lifting as much but I still do... and so far this year I have lost 10lbs which is mostly from being sick every so often with my IBS! So I am frustrated to no end and tired of feeling bad (health wise) back pain, feet hurt, exhausted, cant fit in my desk at school, cant fit in my clothes.... everything! I just want to lose it and lose it for good! So I am hoping that I will be able to get the lap band and have a long health life! I will find out on Monday Sept 14 if everything is a go!
