thanks.. everything is going good. its getting easier to deal and im on pureed food now which helps alot. i have a routine to follow and it helps get thru the day... jus need to change the routine up some as to what i eat so i dont get bored...

sorry i didnt update you guys... been a hectic week back at work.. i went for my post op appt on monday and when i stepped on the scale i was pretty shocked... i lost 22lbs in my 1st week... i am now on pureed food for the next 3 weeks.. 1st week was hard getting use to but im doing better now.. jus need to switch things up some..

romain.. can you please provide me with the recipe for chilli.... i would love to try that..

Hello Fellow Bandsters.. My name is Marcos, all my friends call me Beezy, and my internet name is thedvsgneeus. I am a rookie bandster, as my surgery was this past Monday 9/28/2009. It was a long wait to get my band as my original date was back in May, however because of a new job, i had to postpone the surgery three months. The first week has been pretty rough, i am still experiencing gas pains but less each day and the worst each night.. I am following my liquid diet and can not wait for the next step. My Post-Op Appt is this Monday 10/5/2009. I am also looking forward to see if i have lost any weight. Everyone is telling me i am looking about 5-10lbs thinner.. Hopefully they are right.. I am 4 days post op and I am still experiencing gas pains. Its really rough doing the liquid stage as my options are limited. @maddan. I agree, I have definitely questioned my sanity a couple of times since the surgery.. Can't wait for the pain to subside..
