  1. Wow that was painful and scary!!!!! Had a fill on friday up to 5.66cc's and I thought let me try a piece of a pita HUGE NO NO, Definitely in alot of pain sharp stabbing pain and then it all came back up (sorry to be graphic)... I feel so much better now!!!! Won't be trying that again for a long time...:thumbup: I WILL DEF. MISS YOU BREAD!!!!!
  2. Well I am at 5.66cc's and I actually finally feel something my dr. put in 3.66 the first fill and then 1 each time after.

Wow I went for my third fill today I now have 5.66cc's in a 10cc band and I ate a little bit of cream of wheat about 2 and 1/2 hrs ago and was so full and just had a half of a toasted sandwich and it was really tough going down and now I feel like I am going to explode, hope it stays this way!!!!!! Need to start getting these pounds off again no weight loss in a month!!!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!:biggrin:
  4. I have been at the same exact weight for the past month. Then two weeks ago we were on vacation and since then I have not been able to get off the couch and get to the gym. I am just laying around doing nothing. I go back for a fill on Friday and I am so embarrassed that in 6 wks I have only lost about 5 or 6bls. I just don't know how to get motivated again and STOP EATING JUNK AND FRIED FOODS!!!!!! HELP!!!!
  5. I am proud of myself went to the gym today for 50minutes and was able to do the whole 50 of walking and running about 20 minutes in total of running which I havent done before and my legs are sooooo sore for the first time ever!!!! I love it.
  6. Normally I don't go over 1200 calories a day with 1hr of intense treadmill/walking and jogging. Burning around 400 calories. But lately I am being really bad. I need to get my butt off the couch today and get moving.
  7. I started logging into lapbandjourney.com again yesterday to count my calories and I had about 300 more than I should.. Actually feeling a little depressed as well can't seem to kick it. Thought I would have lost so much more than I have. Its depressing when all the way up until I went on vacation I was doing the right things and spending over an hour a day in the gym and still not losing, I don't drop anything until it is my time of the month and its so frustrating....UGGGHHHH

This is a little strange but I had my 2nd fill 6wks ago and this past week I really had a hard time getting down food, I felt stuck twice last week, is it normal that I would feel that way so long after my fill. I am actually due for another fill this Friday. I was on vacation last week and kind of fell off the wagon for a few days, does that have anything to do with it.
  9. It seems to have a mind of its own!!!!! I have no clue what made it tighten I did go off my diet a bit when on vacation but why would that make it tighter!!!HMMMM
  10. lapbandjourney.com is awesome too, it counts calories and how many calories burned for you too. I love it and use it everyday.
  11. I am lucky enough to have the same problem too!!!! I was wondering if it is due to not taking birth control pills for that week. It is so aggrevating to not lose anything for 3 weeks and have to wait that long for a few pounds to drop off. UGGGGHHHH:mad:

    Calories burned on gym equipment

    You know I was thinking that I am only 5ft and if I am walking at 4.1 on the treadmill wouldn't I burn more calories then someone that is alot taller than me b/c I have to work harder.

    Horrible Arm Flab!!!

    So I have lost about 35lbs so far and I went from size 16 to a size 12 and my body is starting to look decent but my arms are HUGE!!!!!! and so flabby underneath and I hate them. What is the fastest way to tone up the triceps, we go on vacation in two weeks and I am disgusted by my arms!!! Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the advice I am going to definitely start that routine today. I do the gym for an hour and then I will come home and try that routine. Thanks so much everyone.
  15. I have been struggling to get out of 160's for the past few weeks and finally I get on the scale this afternoon and boom it said 159!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!! soooooo happy... 30 some lbs to go and I am at goal!!!
  16. That is my exact goal weight as well!!!!! I feel like the weight loss stalls and then all of a sudden boom a couple pounds come off!!! I am really happy right now.. Good luck to you!!
  17. Just curious as to how many pounds everyone is losing on average a week. Go for 2nd fill tomorrow hoping that starts the losing process back up.
  18. I was banded May 3rd, go for my 2nd fill tomorrow. I have lost 31lbs so far. Go to the gym between 3 to 5 times a week. Have been slipping on the eating, not eating the greatest of foods but staying within the 1200 calorie range. Yes I am happy so far, just need to get back on track!!!!
  19. I am about 9weeks post op and have lost about 31lbs so far but I am finding it harder and harder to get out the door and get going to the gym!!!!! How do I keep myself motivated? Don't get me wrong I am thrilled with the weightloss and I try not to over do it with the eating basically stay around 1000 to 1200 calories but the gym part is killing me just seem to be losing interest. Any ideas?

    Losing Motivation!!!!

    I guess it is doing the same thing, I do about 40minutes on the treadmill and then about 15 on the eliptical machine. Maybe if I break that up with some more weight lifting that would do it and yes I watch tv while I am there it just doesn't seem to do it though. I just need to get back to going 5days a week, I am prob. down to about 3 days right now.

    That is absolutely awesome, can I ask how long it has taken you to get there? I have about 40lbs more to lose to be 120 can't wait to get there...
  22. Banded May 3rd and just wanting to see how everyone is doing and how their weight loss is coming along? I am a little above 30lbs lost so far, I went almost 3 weeks with no weight loss at all and then Monday got on the scale and boom 1lb down and another one yesterday and one more today!!!!!! YIPPY!!!

  24. I just wanted to see on average what how many calories people were burning at a time exercising? What is a good number? I am doing around 300 a day exercising but I have heard it should be higher. Now I am rethinking what I am doing and may have to try and spend more time there.
  25. I actually just started doing the elliptical machine a few days ago so I am doing that and the treadmill to try and break the boredom I am feeling. I guess I will just try and work up more of a sweat when I am there!!!!!
