  1. I have the flab ABOVE my belly button, and pulling the skin down, doesn't touch that part. I was looking online and read something about the reverse abdominoplasty, where they pull it up, towards your breasts... There were few and far between articles on it, it said it was a fairly UNCOMMON procedure.. I am curious to know if anyone has had this, and how everthing went, results, etc... Please, and Thanks!

I just had this done a week ago along with brachioplasty and Breast lift with augmentation and it was the best decision. Virtually no pain for reverse TT and the scars are in the breast crease. Just make sure you chose a Dr who likes and is comfortable with this procedure. I interviewed and researched and found who I feel is the best the country in So Cal.

  2. this is exactly what was happening to me..for like 4 months..but i was finally losing at least 2 lbs a week...i knew I was too tight..after throwing up every time i ate or drank i had the dr remove a little fluid..but it continued and It became my new "normal"..my husband and daughter were saying that it was forced bulemia...i was also coughing and started having bad reflux. I felt like crap but i was losing weight! and the throwing up made me feel so much better...ANYWAY, long story short..the throwing up and too tight band made my band slip and now I am recovering from my second surgery...NO FUN...now I have an empty band and am starting over...STOP NOW and talk to your Dr...it isnt worth it believe me...

  3. thanks for the replies...i am feeling pretty good...just a little bloated from the gas they pump in...but WAY better than the first one. I am just worried that i wont lose weight again. It seems too good to be true to have lost 60 lbs...and i think i was living with a slipped band for at least 4 months..like forced bulemia...so now that I am not throwing up will i gain? Gosh sounds stupid but i am worried

  4. thanks for your post...I had mine on monday. It was an easy fix i guess..not much scar tissue so he was able to reposition in and stitch again.. I actually flew 48 hours after the surgery for a business meeting in NYC (I live in CA)...fly home tomorrow....

I am hungry! sucks to start over again on liquids..I have lost 60 lbs so far and haev 20 more to go. im worried that I wont lose with the new revision. I know stupid but I am scared ..i dont want to gain.

how is it going with you now that you have the new band?

  5. we seem to have a similar band date, age and weight loss....I havent posted much on here..just read it often. I have a band slip though and am having surgery find tomorrow to fix it. I am trying to find people who have had a revision and what their recovery time was.

Anyway, just thought I would say hello and see that I am on track or "normal"
