I have to agree,, at 144 i would not have still had the surgery and i know my dr would not have done it.. I am thinking perhaps you are not eating enough and that is why you are not losing. -
So i have lost little since my last fill.. and ive looked back as seen that most of my foods are not healthy and have some sort of gravy on it -- i think i am too tight.. i am unable to eat salad or any meat unless it is swimming in gravy or ground like taco meat.. does it sound too you that im too tight..have also had many instances of pbing and vomiting..

I just noticed that as of tuesday - I now have lost MORE than I still need to to reach my first goal!!! Im over the half way point!

When i am stressed or upset i cant get anything down.. even a shake is difficult.

My Plan from my dr was 1 weeks liquid,, this included creamed soups, jelly.. ect .. then 2 weeks mushie then real food. -

Every once in a while i swallow too fast, or dont chew quite enough, most of the time it stops and i have some pain.. but every once in a while i can feel it squeezing its way through. anyone else every get this? -

I was stalled for 4.5 weeks -- I was banded 6 months ago -- hit the wall hard - I added some more calories to by diet,, not alot it was about 100 and i lost 2 more lbs finally... sometimes you need to just switch things up.. change to foods, change the type of exercise you are doing - or gasp dont go to the gym for a week - then go back.. i did that as well as add the 100cals.. I feel on track, i do need a slight fill and go june 2nd. -
I like GNC whey in the pouch NOT the canister there is a difference. They have other flavors too.. I also like the EAS low carb shakes from the grocery store.

scale has still not moved - but thats not why i feel awful... I had my first real stuck issue thursday - once around 5 on one bite of food ( pizza uggg)- then had to go do some errends got home around 8 and tried to eat again.. to vomit three time.. :redface: I am still very sore and not feeling great.. called the Dr. yesterday they said all i feel sounds normal after a stuck episode and vomiting... ugg.. i cant believe i did this to myself. back on liquids for a day or 2 maybe the scale will move now lol

Isn't it strange that when the scale is moving and you know you are losing people don't seem to notice?? But when you have been stalled for a month, the scale isn't budging everyone is noticing and say things like "Look at you wasting away" :redface:

So- I am struggling.. 4 weeks without the scale moving, my first thought was get a fill.. but i really dont think i need one,, i just had lunch and i amfull on 15 slices of turkey pepperoni and 2 string cheese and 3/4 of a yogurt,, I couldnt possibly need a fill. Is it normal to have platues and not need a fill?? Getting discouraged and would really like to start seeing some progree. i would hate to think that this is as far as i get.

During the week yes, that is my norm - lunches are very hard for me and I have found the pepperoni and cheese and some yogurt to go down with no embarrassing issues. I am going to add a Protein shake in mid day after lunch that will get some more protein and some more cals in.... I cancelled my fill for today because i know i dont need one....need to get things going again the scale not moving is really starting to upset me

OKay - I should say the pepperoni is small,, each slice is smaller than a quarter - it equals the size of one slice of turkey meat from the deli.. yes i have tested it lol... Its not 3/4 of a cup it almost 3.4 of the 6 oz container.. closer to to half. I know from using fit day that I am not hitting 1200 cals a day.. not even close. I entered all my foods for today and the break down is 558 Cals 23 grams fat 59 Grams carbs 38 Grams protien So i can see that my carbs are too high,, and I definitely need more Protein.

scratch that.. full after half and apple lol... water is not going well,, i seem to br drinking diet ice tea in place of it

Thanks! I have a journal i bought just to use to keep trackof what i was eating and i never did, I am going to put it in my purse and start - maybe ill switch up the pepperon for some sliced turkey and see if that helps-- i had lunch at nooon and i got a little hungry so i am eating an apple right now.. no peel. you suppose that is ok or should i not be hungry lol.. so sad

Well - I went on vacation and since the week before and since my work schedule and kid schedule has not allowed me to get to the gym - i am sure that is part of it.. My diet was off while on vacation but i maintained and didnt gain, when i came home i was having a hard time eating anything.. lots of pbing, couple vomiting - so unfortunatly i was resorting to soft foods - slider - mashed potatoes and stuff like that - As of yesterday i have turned my eating around and i think im back on track - chewing chewing and slow eating is my enemy and that is what i need to think about every meal. Todays food was - 1/2 cup special k protien plus with 1/2 cup skim milk. mid morning was a protien shake lunch was 2 string cheese and a yogurt ( lunch at work is very hard for me to eat i always get pbing from only having 30minutes to eat and thinking about the next thing i have to do ) dinner was slice a moist meatloaf made with half burger half ground turkey , sliced cucumbers and 1/4cup of corn snack just a little while ago was six crackers with hummus. what do you all think. i know im probably not getting enough protien - shake is 25g yogurt is 6g meatloaf ?? hummus 5-6 i think. -

My Doc was always rushed, not quite a bad as yours tho. Then one week i was 5 min away from the office after driving over an hour when they called and said dont come he is stuck in surgery, i said i am already here and drove over and hour. They fit me in with his PA who was FABULOUS!!! Now i make all my appointments with her - she sits, she talks , asks you questions and listens to you i love her! Does your doc have a pa working with him? -

So I have a job interview coming up and i have nothing to wear, I only own a couple pairs of jeans that fit so i went shopping today for a pair of pants.. dredding every minute of it cause pants - usually shopping for jeans- is very hard for me. I went and tried on some kahkie pants - a size 22, too big,, a 20 too big,,i thought no way 18s will be too small and ill be in the in between spot that sucks..low and behold i was able to wear an18 that fit perfect... i was thrilled. so the scale isnt moving right now and i have been slacking and have not been to the gym in three weeks -- but i saw progress in the pants. The shirt was a 16 too :thumbup:

Haha,, no kidding - but I am crossing my fingers for this.. lost of opportunity for me if it falls into place.
