I have skin glue and it's slowly falling off. My surgery was a week ago tomorrow.

had mine a week ago tomorrow and yesterday was first day of really no pain. I stop taking the pain meds as well since I'm heading back to work Thursday.

I hear more options.

Sarah the gave a website Unjury.com and I order the sample pack. I got 2 packs of 5 flavors for like 28 bucks. The chocolate one was pretty good and I was able to get it down.

Sarah I tried the Unjury chocolate today and so far so good. I will look into the one you mentioned so I have options.

Today had been a real struggle with my protein shakes. I got some sample Unjury powder so will try that next. I had 3 different brands if pre made shakes and I almost lost it trying to get it down. Otherwise food wise I'm doing good. I tired to do a little more around the house with my 3 year old today and I'm paying the price actually had to take some pain meds.

How are we all doing to start off the week. Me not so great with protein today almost lost it. I got some Unjury powder packs so going to try that next time. Can't believe I did ok with it till today. Looks like all the IV fluid is gone and I'm down to 294. Yay a week ago I was 306 day of surgery 300 so I'm on a good roll. I tired to do more with my 3 year old today and I'm really sore so took some pain meds and resting now.

I'm with you can't wait to sleep on my sides again my back is killing me. I also came home heavier from all the IV fluids but today I was 2 lbs less then surgery weight. No diarrhea here I still have had a bowel,movement since surgery even though I'm passing gas like crazy.

, hey here Rodney I also had sure very on 6/18 and today was the first day I couldn't do my protein. I think I'm going to try and change it up tomorrow. I am getting plenty of water in so no worries there. For the 30 min rule I was told with the liquids to do 30 ml of liquids every 30 minutes. Now on to soft foods to stop drinking 20 min before I eat and then wait 20 min once I'm done to start drinking again.

I had issues today getting in all my protein. May need to switch to something different tomorrow.

This is all good advice. The big ones stop any caffeine now so you can get over the withdrawal stage, try out as many protein shakes you can best to have a few different ones in case you don't like one after surgery. Try to stock up on the liquids and soft foods you can before hand so you don't have to run to the store. Get your house in order, cleaned, dishes done, laundry done etc. Also try to figure out where you plan to sleep. Remember you will have 4-5 incisions on your stomach so it will be hard to get up and down and move in bed. This has been the hardest for me still and I have been home for 3 days now.

I'm jealous I can't sleep on my sides and laying on my back for the past few days is making my back injury act up. I keep trying and hope one night I will be able to.

I had mine 6/18 and was sent home with nausea medicine did you get any? Walking will help with the gas. Hope these past quick for you.

bummer on the headache. Are you taking any pain medicine still. Maybe that will help. It can be from no caffeine etc and should hopefully pass soon. I just tried some cream of broccoli soup and did good. So far no issues with anything and not really feeling hungry so that is a good thing. I'm also adding more to my walking each day.

I had my surgery Wednesday and so far I can do sips of protein shakes had a Popsicle and a little yogurt. Later I'm going to try a little cream soup. My stage 2 foods are cottage cheese, yogurt, sugar free pudding, cream of soups (without the of part of the soup lol), soy milk. And I can still do stage 1 clear liquids water, decaf tea or coffee, sugar free jello, broths etc. I'm on these stage for he next 2-4 weeks depending on how thugs go and what my dr feels. I can't move on till he says it's ok. I'm also glad I did this and so far still don't really feel hungry at all.

I'm doing good hard to sleep still can't find a comfortable way to lay yet. But otherwise not bad no real pain from my incisions. I can add soft foods today so I'm going to try a yogurt soon. Getting they my protein shake for the day slowly but will make it at the end if the day. Been up and walking as well. Just ordered myself a medical alert bracket in case something happens in the future. Looking forward to showing later today as well.

I'm 2 days out and pain has not been much go an issue. Just hurts a little in my kept side because of removing the port from the lapband. Tomorrow I can move o you soft foods so we will see how that goes. Today I was able to Protein shake and no issues. I just goy home today from the hospital so, we shall see how I will sleep tonight. good to hear from everyone that had theirs this week.

I get to move to soft foods tomorrow. Was able to add protein shake today once I got home from the hospital. Can't wait to add a change to my diet.
