good luck. If you surgery team is anything like mine where they walk you thru what is going to happen you will do good. I like that because it helped me feel safe as they went through the procedure.

goof luck hope all went well today. I just came home 2 days after mine.

hi Sarah yes I just got home. My husband and sons got me all set up in my room and they left to go do the grocery shopping. I'm feeling good finally passing gas so it's a good sign. Also,just had my first sips of protein shake and no issues. Tomorrow I can. Start soft foods. I did take some pain mess after getting home since it was an jour drive so I'm ready for a nap. Thanks for checking on me.

just got back from a walk. ???? and hoping to get some sleep tonight if others around me will not be snoring I loud and then another guy just keeps yelling at the nurses

thanks Sarah. Surgery didn't happen till 330 they got way behind. Overall I'm good pain just she I move or get up. Plan is to go home tomorrow. I started walking around shortly after getting to my room.

I have been lucky so far no gas pains.

I got my revision surgery yesterday. The hardest part was my dr was running 3 1/2 hours late. I'm so grateful that the band didn't cause any damage or major scar tissue. Pain is really only bad when I move and get up. I started walking 3 hours after getting to my room and it feels good. Also man never thought water tasted so good by the time I could have it I had gone 24 hrs since the last I could have any Tuesday because of the delay. Good luck to the upcoming revisions.

I had my revision from the bad to the sleeve yesterday after a 3 1/2 hour delay. I'm so happy the band didn't cause to much damage so my dr could do the sleeve. I started waking 3 hours after getting to my room. Pain is not that bad just sore when I move or first get up. Sips of water never tasted so good when I was finally able to have again. No issues with it either. Now I'm just looking forward to figuring out my new stomach. Good luck to the upcoming surgeries.

Hello. Finally had surgery 3 1/2 hours past my time. I have gotten p and did on lap already and finally able to sip water. Pain in ok hurts when I move which is often as my old injure in my back. Can't keep my eyes open either. ????

Today is our day good luck to all. I also could not sleep much last night. We will be leaving in the next few hours.

. When you talk to him explain how you feel and why you want to do it. It may also help to have Jim go to an apt with you so he can hear from the dr as well. As for going through this with young kids I'm having my surgery tomorrow and I have a 3 year old. Good for me my husband stays home with our boys do I will have the help with them.

I'm going in tomorrow as we'll have to be there at 1030 am then surgery around noonish. I also been on liquids the last 2 days as well.

I got the band in 2008 and at that time it was that or bypass and I didn't like the moving if things with the bypass. Fast forward to today after losing 121 lbs and having a baby my band is just making me sick. Sometime to come out on Wednesday and get the sleeve. Just praying the band hasn't caused a lot of damage or scar tissue so my dr can do the sleeve. just remember no question is to small to ask. Your dr should be able to help answer any you have and give you all the data to make a choice that is best for you.
