Hello, I am hoping to get some help from you?? My husband has the 10cc band as well and he is getting frustrated. He had his last fill 4 wks ago and has not lost any weight. I don't think he has the restriction that i have because I see how much he can still eat. He is definately a junk food junkie! But he is still eating very little compared to what he was able to eat before. Does he need another fill? Should he take diet pills to aid in his appetite? Any feed back is appreciated.

My two sisters, my husband and I all had our surgeries done by Dr.Ortiz and are all doing fine. I work in the Health Care injustry and would definatly say that Dr.Ortiz is top notch and not bad to look at either.

I was banded May 26th and have only lost 40 lbs. I haven't found my sweet spot yet and it really gets frustrating. I thiught is last fill was it but unfortunatly it isn't. I live in Las Vegas and my Doctor is in Mexico which is a 4-5 hour drive. It seem as though I loose a few pounds right after the fill then I maintain. It really is frustrating! This was way to expensive not to work.

Hello, I had the Lab Band May 26th and have lost 27 lbs. I feel as if the band is not tight enough or I am eating the wrong things in order to loose weight. I know this sounds gross but I am also constipated and I don't know how to remedy it. If you know of any solution for that I would appreciate it. Another thing.... I thought with the band you could still eat what you want but you would only be able to eat an extremely small portion??? I have found that I could consume a pretty good portion in the sweet department and that is exrtremely frustrating. HELP!!! :faint:

I have an appointment next week for a fill and I am not sure about it. I am scared to have an over fill.... I have been able to eat quite a bit the past two weeks. Today on the other hand everything I ate got stuck. I don't know if it is the band being tight, which meens I don't need a fill, or if it is the texture of the food. My band is really tight in the mornings which seems to be pretty common but for some reason I don't get full. I sure could use some of your advice.

I seriously don't know if I need another fill. I have an appointment next week. Yesterday I was able to eat alot and did not get full, yet today everything I ate seemed to get stuck. I haven't had a "full" feeling in a whille which of course makes me want to eat more. I have not had a PB but some things do tend to get stuck. Any advice??

Don't rush it. Your are losing weight and feeling better so what is a few more months?? Besides, you may think of other things to put on your tat. :clap2:

You seriously need to get an unfill ASAP! My sister went throught he same thing and ended up having her band slip and then removed. Good luck.

I have had 2 fills and could still eat a really food amout. I can't really have bread or tortilla, but I compensate by eat alot of the other stuff. I am really aggrivated and wnat to get another fill. I already have 2.8 cc's.

I seriously don't know. How much weight have you lost? Do you feel hungry and how much restriction do you have?

I don't know how many is too many. I guess you just keep going untill it feels right to you. Nobody knows your body like you do. Super Model

I have had the exact same thing. I work in a huig Doctors office and was told that it was normal because my body was going through some major changes and because of the recent surgery. My period was also abnormal for the first two months, It is back to normal now and the clotting has stopped. I hope that helps you. At the same time if it does get back to normal and is prolonged you shoud see your OB/GYN.
