  1. I HAVE FINALLY MADE IT TO ONEDERLAND:thumbup:. For the past few weeks I have played around with 198-201 but now I am officially at 198 and haven't seen a 200+ on my scale in over a week!!! I start my next zumba session on Monday and really look forward to it. I don't post often, but I do look at the board every week to grab some inspiration from all of you. Thank you to everyone on this forum....it has really inspired me to keep moving past the struggles and I know now that I am not the only one going through the glitches. It's amazing if I have a question - someone else has already asked it and many of you respond so I get my answers very quickly. Thanks again for all of your sharing and support.

  2. Tiff

OH WOW!!!! I haven't been on the board for a while, but OMGOSH - YOU LOOK AMAZING....could you have ever imagined a year ago where you would be today? You are truly an inspiration thank you so much for sharing with all of us your story. Congrats - I can't wait until I can buy me a pair of white pants (size 6 or 8 would be ok with me)

  3. I finally went shopping for the first time since surgery and I bought all regular sized clothes and didn't even hit the women's section once! A few things didn't fit, but that was ok there was plenty of clothes that fit great! I'm hoping to get over this stall and join many of you in onderland soon. I've joined a Zumba class that starts a week from Monday and I can't wait! Wish me luck.

  4. Congrats Nikki,

I've been away and when I did come around the site I was "lurking" and not signed it....I hit an ugly stall. You've been a great motivator and I am so happy for you. I have 2lbs that just won't go away to get me to onederland - but I WILL BE JOINING YOU SOON!!!! I just signed up for a Zumba class and hopefully that will push me over this ridiculous stall! Congrats girl, keep it up - you're amazing!

  5. I can't wait until I get there, but I am finally over half way there!:thumbup1: Losing the weight has slowed down, but I am still losing. And if I see a week that I haven't lost (I haven't gain either) I am happy - I know staying positive will help with the end results. We are going to Disneyland in four weeks, it will be my son's first trip there and I am actually looking forward to going as I will be able to fit comfortably in the rides!!! I will make sure to post a picture or two when we get back.

  6. Now I have a NSV myself. . .got into my hubbies truck to go with him and guess what? The seatbelt fit!!! It really fit, with space! I have never been able to put the seatbelt on, and used to just hold it in place to look as if it was on, but it fit all, it really did!!!!!! woot woot

Thin - WOO HOO on the seatbelt!!!! Congrats!

  7. Congrats Shanda!

I was sleeved two weeks after you, I love watching your updates as I am about on the same losing schedule as you (although it's going to take me a little longer to hit onderland) I hope to reach 50lbs loss by Christmas.

You're going to be an absolute beautiful bride....

Looking forward to seeing pictures of the new you in onederland!

  8. It's OVER!!!!! My stall has left...I hope. I got on the scale this morning and I have starting losing again. Only 3lbs but we all need to lose one at a time, right? I am so happy three weeks with no lose was really tough, however I see that I have come out of it successfully and look forward to moving on down the scale! And will battle the next stall just as hard! Thanks again for all of your support!

  9. Congrats deedee! I am so happy for you! I am still able to wear the clothes I was wearing pre-op (many got pretty tight) but everything is loose! I am looking forward to getting out of women's sizes and into regular size clothes that I enjoy shopping for. Congrats again, your hard work has paid off!

  10. Tiffy - That is absolutely AMAZING! Congratulations to you on such a milestone! You are definitely an inspiration and it's wonderful having you on the site. All your words from experience and your heart really help many of us on our own journey.

    Congrats and Thank you!!!!!

  11. I was doing so well, in the first four weeks I lost 31lbs! I was cruising along until my body caught on and STOPPED!!!! I have now been at a stall for 2 weeks. I am losing my motivation fast and the desire to exercise is quickly fading but still exercising. When I first realized I was at a stall I told myself that I didn't need to post anything as I have read so many other posts and seems almost everyone stalls......but I can't take it any longer. Seems to me most of you stall for a few days or a week, anyone have a longer stall this early post op? My frustrations are growing quickly. I didn't measure myself so not sure if I'm losing any inches, however my clothes don't seem to be any bigger. I am eating between 700-810 calories a day. I feel like I am actually going to be "that" person that this doesn't work for :)

  12. I saw my PCP last week and while I was there I asked him about a medic alert and he said it wasn't necessary for the VSG. He did suggest that I might want to put a piece of paper in my wallet near my DL that had my vsg mentioned on it along with my medical condition (that I already have an ID for) and any medication I am currently taking, both over the counter and prescription. So I typed one up the next day and it's in my wallet.
