  1. What kind of patches did you use? I do swim but think I'd be able to strengthen my knees better if I could walk more.

  2. HI Frank! I saw you mentioned knee pain in one of your posts. I have bad knee pain that I thought would get better but I'm down 53 lbs and it's not better at all. How bad was yours and how long did it take? I get cortisone ever 2-3 months and suffer in between. Right now I'm using a cane because of the pain. Even tried the series of 5 injections that did nothing. So, I'm just wondering about your experience.

  3. It's has been all I hoped for also. I am so relieved I don't have to count calories, eliminate foods and obsess over a diet. It didn't work before so why would we do it now! I first got a hint of this at a support meeting. One of the WL surgeons had the sleeve and lost a lot of weight and told us Not to diet and count calories. That really opened my eyes and then I was so excited when I read your blog. It does amaze me that some people are burdening themselves by counting calories and still dieting. This is sooooo much better!

  4. Hi, in a nutshell your blog said you didn't want to be one of those lapbanders drinking protein shakes 3 times a day for years, counting calories (unlesss you are slipping), cooking separate meals, etc. You wanted to eat normally, no foods off limits, and to get to a point where food no longer rules your life, your time, your thoughts. It said a lot more but that's a little of it. From reading your blogs, I think you are living up to it and it still inspires me every day!
