  1. Ya, I would just let it go for awhile. I can't imagine how low she feels right now. If I were in her shoes I wouldn't want to talk about it either. Eventually, she'll get over it. This reminds me of a situation I had with my bestfriend. I had been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years with no luck. My bestfriend didn't even want kids and she came up pregnant. I was sick with jealousy. I know thats terrible but its just a natural feeling when you want something so bad. I didn't' want to talk about her pregnancy either. I needed time to get over those feelings. So give her time, I'm sure she'll come around. Just put yourself in her shoes and treat her as you would want to be treated if the situation were reversed.

  2. I've been reading a lot and seeing that a lot of people end up with loose skin. Many opt for tummy tucks and what not. I don't want that to happen so I've been searching for things that might help prevent that from happening. I read that exfoliating really good and using a good lotion all over can help. I looked at some lotions today and found Nivea had one that contains CO-Q10. It says it's supposed to be great at tightening up loose skin. I then thought, "Hey, I wonder if theres a supplement of CO Q-10 you can take" and low and behold there is! I read about it and it's great for your heart, and skin and even weight loss! So I've decided to start it now (I haven't had surgery yet) and once I do have my surgery, I'll start the lotion too. It's worth a try right?? Has anyone else heard of this? Or have any other ideas to help prevent loose skin, besides exercise and loosing slow. (Which I fully plan on doing)

  3. My nutritionist told me that this two week period is not about weightloss. It's about strictly shrinking your liver so that it won't be in the way for surgery. Of coarse most DO lose weight during that time, but as long as you're doing what you're supposed to be doing then I'm sure your liver is shrinking like it's should. Don't worry about what the scale says. Also, when you don't eat, you're body's natural instinct is to lower it's metabolism and hold onto your fat. So, that might be whats happening. Good luck!
