  1. @pink I ask myself the same question. I am 2 months post op and have lost 30 pounds. I would not believe it if the scale did not say it. I can not "tell" yet. Everyone one is different. You may start to notice the small things first. Looser fitting clothes, looking smaller in the mirror etc. Before you know it you would have lost some serious weight. Good luck!

  2. I have not been diagnosed with PCOS but I want a baby soon. I am 5 weeks post op. I have NEVER had a period without being on birth control which defeats the whole purpose of trying to get pregnant lol. I hope after losing some weight I will get a period :) Good luck!

  3. thanx u guys i will look that up!! n wow more2love i am half way to 60 pounds and hope i get there ;) good luck to you all

Hey! My surgery was May 18 and I'm down 60 lbs. I wouldn't mind losing another 40 lbs before Christimas. Everyone says that I look much thinner, but I can't see it at all. I used to be able to see it, and then my mind suddenly changed... or at least my eyes changed. All I see are the flaws. But maybe I'll be happier after 40 more lbs.

  4. GOOD LUCK!! U will be fine. After surgery I was fine a little sore and tired. Also i found keeping a pillow on my tummy and ice felt so good. i also could not sleep in my bed 4 3 weeks couch just felt so much better. The third day and so on felt pretty bad but by the end of the week you should feel lots better. The first day I thought there is NO WAY ppl go back 2 work only after a week, but I did and felt good.

tomorrow is the big day..wish me luck

  5. I have lost 30 pounds since surgery date 7-5 :) but honestly I can not tell in my body yet. I am down 2 sizes but to me I still look the same. I work out at least hour n half 5 times a week. i am averaging about 7 pounds lost every week man. I am happy but wish I could see it, instead of everyone just telling me.

  6. oh wow my 2nd day I didnt want anything but sleep. I didnt eat at all the first week. Hopefully this gets better. good luck!

I'm feeling the same way 1 days post op. I ate a whole thing of yogurt this morning because for the first time i could, and it felt so good just feeling like I was eating normal. But then felt guilty like maybe I'm sabotaging myself?! This is becoming quite an emotionally journey the last 2 days

  7. SORRY GUYS I MUST HAVE BEEN DELURIOUS WENT I WORTE THAT I MEANT BAND SLIPPAGE NOT POUCH LOL THANX 4 REPLIES @vlp yes i know ice cream bad lol

I think your fine. If you have a slip, you suddently can't keep anything down, not even fluids. Oh, and I just have to say this, even fatfree icecream as lots of empty calories and lots of sugar. It's ok while your on mushies, but I would stay away from it once your on solid food. Congrats on your surgery!

  8. mine has been doing that the last 4 days lol

    maybe its gas moving around???

Yeah mine does it also. It can be very embarrassing. I usually just laugh and say I am sorry my stomach is gurgling. I just say that so they don't think the weird sound is anything else body related. Also mine makes weird suction sounds as my food slides down into my pouch and the air moves. I know this is what it is because I can feel it. Oh well take me as I am funny sounds and all:)
