Thanks so much for your response! I was starting to feel like I was going to be the only one that wasn't going to lose any weight. I know that, that type of thinking is just crazy, but I suppose after so many failed diets you just start to freak, you know?!

Oh, I know how you feel because I am going through the same thing!!! I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and my weight loss has stopped! I have lost 24 lbs, but most of that was in the first week! I'm guessing that it's because our bodies have to get used to the weight loss and the shock that it has gone through, but it is scary!!!! I have to say that it is nice to know that someone else is going through the same thing! I was starting to think that maybe the 20 lbs was it. that I was going to be the person that didn't lose anything too!!! Merry

Oh, I know exactly what you mean! I was craving mustard, hot dogs and chipotle!lol The cravings have gone away now (I'm almost 4 weeks out), but I still miss the thought of eating large volumes of food. The first time I got to eat soft foods and filled up after a few bites, I nearly cried. The food tasted soooo good in my mouth and then it was over! I knew that t was going to be like that (getting full so quickly), but I didn't think that it would hit me so hard! I have to say that it is getting a bit easier, but it's hard.

Hi, Pamela! I had my surgery done July 13th and went back to work July 23rd. and Honestly, I could have went back sooner than that! I was off of my pain meds with in 5 days and felt normal a few days after. Everyone is different, but my healing was really quick. The only issue that I had was feeling a little faint sometimes, but I quickly realized it was because I went a little long with out my Protein. Good Luck!!! Merry
