  5. Yes, I liked the SF carnation Instant Breakfast and low carb Slimfast. My taste has definetely changed but don't know if its because of the lack of appetite or what. Take care.
  6. I'm trying to drink the same protein drinks from before but can only handle about half of it. I do those 3 x a day and try to drink as much water as possible ( which is hard) and eat SF popsicles. :sneaky:

  15. I had my surgery 9/1/09 and also have incision in belly button and it's pretty painful. Almost as bad as my c-section. gas has been pretty bad as well. Well hopes it gets better soon.:blushing:
  16. No it's liquid hydrocodone which tastes like cough medicine. It is nasty. Often I have debated if the taste was worth taking it. But I have given it most of the time, to make myself more comfortable.
  17. Went for a long walk this morning around the block and feeling somewhat better. Will probably go again later if not too hot. Hope everyone's well.:blushing:
  18. Had my surgery as well on 9/1/09. Still pretty uncomfortable, but hoping it will get better today. About to try to get some more sleep. I also went home the same day. I was home by 1 pm. Wish I could have stayed overnight though because I was pretty uncomfortable yesterday. Well good luck to everyone. Now the real work begins.
  19. How long does the gas pain last? I've been walking and taking Gas X/ Hydrocodone(that is nasty) but it's still pretty bad and I have a strong tolerance to pain. :blushing:
  20. It was probably the caffeine but a good idea to have it checked out by the doctor anyways, better to be safe than sorry, Right. Have they rescheduled? Don't worry about the post-op food. I haven't been hungry yet. Haven't had much since Monday night. Take care.:blushing:

  23. Yeah I have been taking the hydrocodone every 4 hours. It is so nasty though. I am hoping tomorrow that it is better. Just got back from a walk around the block, maybe that will help the gas. Take care.
  24. OMG! I took a nap because I didn't sleep well last night. Woke up and felt like someone hit me with a car. I know it's just by the surgery. I remember feeling the same way after my c-section. Hope everyone is doing ok.
