Thank you Barbarella, you are so far behind. It comes off pretty quickly.

    26 days to go.

I thought the same thing. Most of us have doubts because we've spent our lives dieting, on every stupid diet we could find, only to fail or gain all or more than our weight back. This DOES work. Follow the rules and it will be amazing what this tool will help you to accomplish. 26 days isn't far off, it will be here before you know it.

    Am I stupid..hmmm

You need to be measuring at the beginning. It's to hard to tell when you are full. And my full feeling at the beginning was very different than it is now. I couldn't really tell I was full until I felt it in my throat and that was not eating more than 2 oz. Now I get the normal tummy full feelings. Measure everything in the beginning and don't eat more than 2ozs if that's what your doc says. Why chance injuring yourself and your sleeve?

    ...Im New...

Mrshull, hang in there. Seems like it's pretty typical for stalls and for us to get discouraged regarding them, but it is only temporary. Keep reading the message board and you will see that many of us went through the same things. It's hard to not get discouraged. Keep on doing what you are suppose to do and the lbs will fall off. I had and still have problems with going to the bathroom. Someone mentioned miralax in another thread and it has definitely helped me alot. Best wishes to you on your journey. :svengo:
  13. Jenn, Welcome to VST and congrats on your choice to have the sleeve. I agree that the pre op diet is probably the hardest part of the whole process. So hang in there and know that things will get much better. Best wishes to you on your journey and I look forward to hearing how it's going.

    14 Weeks out

Thanks so much. I'm so excited. What's neat is that it really isn't that hard once you have the sleeve. It's such a great tool. My whole attitude towards food has totally changed. It's such a neat feeling. Thanks again.

Mini, I know. Isn't that fantastic. I can tell the inches have really dropped off the last two weeks more so than the weight. I bought a pair of pants two weeks ago and they are to big today. lol

  21. I'm in Monument CO. I had my surgery on Jan 19th with Dr. Aceves in Mexico. I had originally scheduled with Dr. Snyder, but then I had insurance problems and ended up having to self pay. I did attened Dr. Snyders seminar and loved him.

  22. Wendy, best wishes to you. Hope everything went fantastic. Update us when you feel well enough.
  23. Hi Christie, was reading one of your posts on the board and saw you are from Colorado. I am too. Welcome to the site and best wishes to you on your journey.

    Monday Morning Weigh In

HW 257 SW 235 (I better mention I lost 9.5 lbs on pre op diet) LW 189.5 CW 186 I'm losing very slowly and according to the charts...I'm one that's on target for 70% weight loss. I sure hope I can beat those odds, and lose 100% of my weight.

    No appetite at all.....

Lee, I know, you are right. It's just so different from what I've experienced all my life. I shouldn't complain. It just feels like such a chore to eat now. I really really have to force myself to eat, but on the positive side, that's better than eating everything in site. Hope you get to a point where you are not hungry between your meals. I know that must be difficult. Good Luck!:thumbup1:
