Hi all
I am desperately looking for some Protein Bars that are sugar free or low in sugar, low in calories, low in fat and taste good. Are there any Protein bars which exists these specifics? I tried Atkins advantage and liked them but a friend of mine pointed out they are very high in fat, is that true? Please, please, please.......post your recommended protein bars which are ok with LAP-BAND® surgery and good for weight loss. Thanks in advance to all of you.............

I lost 2.4 lbs until 2days ago but today scale shows only 0.4 lbs loss, I think it was bad eating over the weekend plus TOM coming!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup:

I have just joined a boot camp for exercise and it lasts for an hour. I think I might be burning anywhere from 500 to 1000 calories daily because it is very intense workout.

I have realize band and I think I have 5cc of different kind of Fluid not saline in my band. That's why I have restriction at 5cc which my doc says is difficult with saline.
I know I need to do major changes in my eating just like what I did to my exercise 3wks back and I feel great.

Happy Bandiversary!!!! A loss is a loss regardless of the amount. How often do you go in for your fills? Also, what food patterns are you following? Answers to these two questions can make all of the difference in the world. Remember, the band is going to do it's job, you just have to do yours. (That's what I always tell myself!)If you are making good food choices, not getting stuck, and are hungry after a half cup of food, then it is prolly time for a fill. My doctor's office recommends coming in monthly for an adjustment. What are your doctor's recommendations?
I haven't gone for a fill for 3 months now but I used to go monthly until I got good restriction. My insurance changed to bcbs and they don't pay for fills so I am a self pay that's why I push my fills further if I can. I just joined intense exercise boot camp 4 days a week which is making me lose little faster than before. I was eating lot of granola bars until 2 days ago but I stopped now but cravings for sweets are killing me!!!!!! I can easily eat 1 cup of food at one sitting, still getting stuck though on rice, bread and eggs mostly which are my staple foods. I am trying to do major changes in my diet starting after long wend. With this info what do y'all think, do I need a 0.3 or 0.5 cc fill?

I had surgery exactly one year ago today and lost total of 39.8lbs. I want to see if there are any June 30th or close by bandsters out there to see how they are doing and How much other people lost?

Hello everyone, today is my one year band anniversary and I have lost only 39.8lbs so far compared to others who got it done same time I have lost very less. I think people lost anywhere from 60 lbs to 100 lbs and I wish I was one of them! Then on positive side, I think if I haven't had this surgery, I would be same weight may be few extra pounds. My band didn't work for first 7-8 months but now I feel I have restriction. I can still eat 1500 calories a day and I am contemplating whether I should go for some small fill, what do you suggest?

I have gained lots of weight over the years in trial and error of antidepressants and none of the doctors forewarned me about weight gain. Finally I am settled down on combination of cymbalta and abilify and abilify made me gain 30lbs. It was the best med for my depression so I decided to lose weight rather than stop the med because it became a survival issue for me. Let me know the name of your med and I will tell you what it does and will tell you some good alternatives, wellbutrin is one of them as you lose on wellbutrin but it doesn't work for everyone, I know it didn't work for me.

I am down 2.4 lbs this week making it a total loss of 8lbs so far. I am happy with my loss this week but need to lose two more lbs by next week to make it to the goal of July 4th challenge. Also, today I achieve my 2nd mini goal of 250lbs or less weighing at 249lbs. My next goal is to reach 225 lbs.

I used it in the past for B12 deficiency as my stomach cant absorb oral b12 good and nasal stuff is good alternative to injection. Hope that helps.

I lost 0.8 lbs this week, until yesterday scale was showing 2.8lbs loss but last night did some wrong choices in eating and this morning scale was not happy..................

I lost only 1.4 lbs this week which includes one lb gain from last week so net loss is 0.4 lbs for this week.

I was banded June 30th 2009 and just started doing fine on wt loss. No problems so far with band.

I am 5feet 2 or 3 inches depends who measures me and I will be happy if I can reach 195pounds. I dont know if I can lose more than that or not with the slow slow slow weight loss I am having.

I gained 1 pound this week, some of it is out of control eating and less exercise and some of it is TOM was just here! No excuses for next week!!!!!!!!!!!!
