Having such a bad day my surgery is 3 weeks from tomorrow and i have had a few setbacks with cigarettes i am doing so much better then my pack a day i used to smoke but being stressed isnt helping i know i cant smoke after surgery and am trying so hard to quit now im going to the same surgeon and hospital as my last 2 surgeries so i know they dont test u for it and ive been told from several nurses as well as others that your oxygen level goes to normal after 24hrs smoke free i know i wont smoke 24hrs before because im too scared but idk if i should move my date back so i can be smoke free longer or just keep trying to quit ....sorry im rambling im just freaking out ahhhhhh what do i do

  4. My husband is nervous i think but he supports me doing it because he knows im not happy at my cw......i think it would be even harder if he didnt support me doing it....is there reasons why he doesnt want u to do it?

It makes it easier talking to or meeting people that have had band to bypass revision...i only know one person who has and her and I have very similar "stories" and she LOVES the bypass and she looks great you would never know she was ever overweight at all and she also has never had any type of cosmetic surgery to remove skin or lift anything...i pray to god i look as good as her when im done lol

  13. Welcome! What did he say was a bigger risk? When i asked my dr the risks because having the band he told me its no different and i also asked about the length of the surgery being so much longer and he told me its only about an hour long procedure to remove the band and do the bypass so it wouldnt be anu riskier
