It's been a while! I just haven't really had time to peruse the site of late. Thanks for my comment on my pic, that was lovely.

I've been doing really well. I've had a loss of 30.8 lbs since starting the journey and am feeling fantastic. Have become quite the gym junkie, have two personal training sessions a week and fit in up to 5 days exercise a week. I have good restriction and am eating the right foods - 99.5 % of the time

How is it all going for you at the moment?

I'm going well, have successfully progressed to solids without any problems. I have to wait for my first fill until the beginning of february as my surgeon is on annual leave until then. I am going ok, but eating a little more than I thought I should be able to. However I am starting back at gym next week *biting nails* I'll let you know how that goes. I really don't want to slide backwards, I want to keep moving forwards towards my goal.

Movie was fantastic. I did cry a bit though, but it was such a great movie. Highly recommend for a girls day/night. Good work going out and doing the Christmas Shopping

I don't have to do a lot, so mine can wait.

Went and seen the doc today, he said i'm doing great and the incisions are healing nicely. I'm still going to take the whole 2 weeks off because I saved my annual leave for it. Plus I have some paperwork for a course I'm finishing up which I want to get done next week.

Getting nails done sounds like a great idea, I might even do the same, feels like a decade since I've had mine done! LOL

Just a quick check in to see how you're doing? From the posts it seems that you are going well.

I'm doing great, still have a little shoulder pain and stomach pain, but not too bad. I left taking the pain killers a little too long yesterday, won't be doing that again! LOL.

Up and about more now and visiting people. Going to watch My Sisters Keeper today. Better have a box of tissues by my side I think.

Glad to hear it all went well! Yes, i'm in a little pain too, but it's not unbearable. Especially after i take the tablets.

Felt some hunger today, i've been feeling a little yucky too. It's nice to have the hunger pains, sign of improvement I reckon. Hope you are well!

I'm good, have some pain- just feels like brusing inside, the painkillers are doing their job! lol.

Have slight gas pains, but the walking helps.

Been sleeping a lot, it's been wonderful.

Having some big hungers pains today, but the soups and stuff have been helping.

By this time tomorrow I will be in recovery. The nurse told me this morning I will be done by lunch time. So excited!!! Eeeep!!!

Yes, I'm healthy. I'm so ready for this. The nerves haven't totally kicked in. I think maybe I've educated myself enough not to be nervous, or... I'm so sick of the liquid diet I know each day is working towards not HAVING to do it anymore. I know that is still a little ways off, but I'm still super happy

Can't sleep? Sounds like you're a teeny weeny bit nervous. I reckon my worst day for nerves will be Thursday. I'm so excited for all of us. Long time coming.

I'm enjoying one of my last shakes now. Chocolate, it's the only flavour that doesn't make me feel like I wanna vomit now! lol

Thanks for the add. Just read your 'About Me' section. Sounds like you are doing this for similar reasons as me, although really I imagine most of us are. While I don't have children yet, I want to try to in the near future and I wan't to be as healthy as I can for them. Both as a role model and also so it doesn't hinder any activities I want to complete with them, or for my weight to cut my life short.

How old are your children? Boys/Girls?

I just went and visited Bucktober's profile and MAN has he done well. Like you, I have lost the weight only to gain it all back again. While this may sound weird, I think I felt much worse about myself after I lost it all and then gained it back then when I had just been overweight forever. Even more suprising, most of it came back on without it even registering I was really gaining. How STUPID?!

If you would like a sounding board, feel free to drop a note on my profile. While I may seem to talk a lot, I'm a good listener too!

I know it might be tough, but just think, you're on the road to saving your life, it's bound to be hard. Every time you think of food, think of how many years more you get for your hard work. Think of how many more fun times you can have with your friends and family. Also, think of how many clothes shops you can go into and buy something off the rack

I have some good news, I have a surgery date. December 4, 2009. It's a bit far off due to the insurance, but i''m still so excited.

Good to hear the news about the seminar and you're getting ready to get the procedure done. I have some fantastic news... my surgeon has approved me and I have a surgery date!! Woo-hoo! I'm so excited. I'm getting banded on the 4th December. There's a bit of time to wait, because of my health insurance, but I'm so glad I'm at this stage. It was such a relief to hear the words that I can have it done.

Let me know how you go with your dates, fingers crossed you get it as soon as you want it
