Hey I also live in Kennesaw and I am a teacher in Cobb. Anyway, I know how ya a feel I have been there at 15. First gather all the information you can on the surgery. 2nd present the idea to your parents and show them the research you have done. 3rd find a surgeon that’s willing to work on a young patient. My surgeon was Dr. Duncan in Atlanta. He would be a great person to speak with. However listen to me, this surgery I not a easy fix. It is not a magic bean. It takes work. You have to reprogram your thinking and be willing to do the work. Let me know how it goes. Please email me. Hope you had a great fall break. J

I know this is kinda late but I am looking for a group here in Kennesaw or Marietta. I was banded last year and due to lack of support and not following the rules fell off the wagon. I would love to join a group.

Soooooo what happens if you cheat? Has anyone posted that response? Hats off to everyone who has not cheated. Good for you but where are those who have? I want to know experiences. Everyone is not the same. I am 2 weeks post op and I cheated. Yes, I messed up please don't jump on me. I have already beat myself up. I know the imporance of staying on track but now I am worried. SO has anyone cheated and everything was ok?

My Doc. Said I was fine and since I took 2 bites and chewed very well - it was going to be okay. Doing good so far. 12 lbs down.

Thanks I am worried about slippage. I think I am going back to liquids. I don't want to stretch anything. Also what are the symptoms of a slip band? I am so hungry that my stomach growls and wakes me up.

I am 7 days post op. I was told by my lapband mentor at True results that I could go to the mushie phase on day 4.
So today I took 2 bites of watermelon and no problem. I also took 2 bites of chicken and ate tuna and crackers (chewed chewed and chewed) and there wasn't a problem. Kinda scared to try it again. I feel as if I have failed.

I heard that alot of celebs get the balloon. I guess if you have the money you can find people who will do it for you. I wonder if Anna Nicole had that done.
