CONGRATS to you my friend.. I am so happy for you.. I have read on things since I do want to get prego and have the band. You don't have to be nervous. you are taking all your nutients and vitamins right? then you are ahead of a lot of other women who get prego. It is going to be awesome you just wait and see

I pray that God gives you a peace. And that no matter what happens next that He blesses you with the ability to loose the weight safely and that the insurance covers everything necessary since you have followed the rules. HUGS

Well so far from what I understand they will keep me on the metformin until I give birth because you should not breast feed. But I am not pregnant and we are still not sure if I can get pregnant. I am praying I do though. I really want to though and once I am down 100 they will start helping me.. Can't wait. I still get the starving situations and I just have to drink and eat no carb stuff.. I have decided that unless it gets bad I am not going to let them put me back on Provera. Just keep working on it and yell to me when you get frustrated. HUGS Jessice

Hello there.. Yes having PCOS is not picnic but it helps to know you are not alone. I am only on Metformin as of right now. I was on Provera but they take you off of that kind of medicine for the surgery and after for a few months. I refuse to take birth control becuase of the depression it causes. The provera threw me for a loop emotionally when they put me on it for a month strait though. I was only on it 10 days a month. They did a month strait to try to help my Uterous or something like that. PCOS is not friendly at all to the woman body but there are many symptoms to it. Which ones do you have primerily? Jessica

oh yeah it is going to be challanging this week.. I will be at my Sister's in Texas. She will be good at tyring to help me, she flew in for my surgery for three days.. It was so nice having her and my Mom there with me.. Congrats on your new journy. I pray it goes well for you. I am at a stand still on my weight. not sure if it is my IBS or my PCOS. But I keep pushing on.. I will not give up. Congrats to you.. Can't wait to go on this Journey with you I was banded on June 3 and am down 40 pounds. I forgot to weigh for the pre op so I just go from the date of my surgery. lol what can I say.. I think I lost 5 to 10 pounds about though.
