Just take it one day at a time you will get there. I was banded 7/14/09 I have lost 110 pounds so far.

I was banded 6/14/09, I was 263. I weigh 191 now and I have set my goal at 160. I am 5'3" and 56 years old.:confused:
I am updating my weight I am now 158-160 pounds.

Also Target has a good selection of things. I also do second hand shopping.:frown:

Go to the meeting and then make up your mind. I tried everything also to lose weight. I could not control my food intake. I felt at one time that I was a failure by getting the band, I call it the easy way out. Well I sit here 15 months later, I have walk a 5k, a 15k and I am training for a 1/2 marathon walk. I am off blood pressure meds and I feel great. I am 101 pounds lighter and I am loving life. My turning point was when my sister said" do it because you are 55 and you do not have too many do overs".

I have lost 97 lbs since 7/14/2010. I have done a 5k a 15k and I am training to do a 1/2 marathron in November. I am setting a goal of 155 by New Year's morning 2011. So I am in.

It is a great feeling to be able to put a one in front of your weight. I say keep thing the same this week and see where it goes.

Please go to the support meeting even after the band. I am about 13 months out and I still go they have help me greatly.

Hi l live in Wilmington,NC I work in the food service department at a hospital. I had my Galbadder taken out on June 2, 2009 I took 1 week off and on July 14, 2009 I was banded I took 6 days off. I did great great here it is September 18 2010 I am down 97 lbs and training to walk 1/2 marathon on November 7.

I was banned also July 09, I had the same problem about May of this year, I was thinking the same that the band had slipped. I had something stuck in the band. The Dr. did a unfill I drink Water and then he put back in 1/4 less fill. I did a swallow test this month and he said everything looks great. I am down 94 pounds.

I have one to two cups a day. My doctor says it is okay as long as I do not eat and drink.

You are doing a great job, I can tell that you are proud or your self. I am also training to walk a 1/2 marathron on Nov 7 @ 7am. My be we can share our joy over the months. I was banded 7/14/2009 and I have lost 93 pounds. I am walking @ a 16.5 minute pace, a far cry from 20 to 21. Kept up the great work.

I did not tell anyone about my banding until I started losing weight and people started to notice. I chose who to just say thank you and the truth too. I have lost
90 lbs since 7/14/09, now I do not care what others think because I feel great. I have training to walk a 1/2 marathron and no negetive talk about weight lost surgury can make me feel bad.

It was in the 1980 something. I am 12 pound away from 100 lost. I wanted to lose 100 pounds by 7/15/2010. I need to get busy. You all have a great summer stay cool.:thumbup:

I am scheduled to return to the Dr. on the 15th of July I want to be 100 pounds lighter. I need to lose 12 pound got to get my master plan in place. I can do this I have 30 days to lose 12 pound.

Is not onederland great. I am at 175 from 263.My first goal was 199.9. My 2nd goal is -100 pound. I have 12 pound to go. Life is good. Keep up the great work see you at your next goal.

Yes start a good walking program. Sign up for a 5k and train for it. Tell your friends so you will have to do it. I was banded 7/14/2009. I have lost 88lbs. I have 20 pounds to goal. I am training to walk a 13.1 miles on Nov.7, 2010. So maybe if you set a goal and a plan to reach it you will melt away those last pounds. Go for it.

Are you eating your protien first,then veggies. Do not eat anything that will slide through the band. Walk at least 40 mins a day. I was banded on July 14 2009 I have lost 88 pounds following these rules. I am also training to walk 13.1 miles in Nov. Write down what you are eating and when you may be eating too much. It will work it is a tool and you need to learn how to use it.

Try drink more liquids you maybe thirsty, and it feels like hungry.
