That's great!!! Yes, patience is key...but you are doing great!!! I am about 20 lbs away from my goal, and I think this will be the most challenging part of my journey. Keep up the good work girl

Hey girly! You are looking great after your surgery! I just wanted to say hi and see how you were doing.

So my first fill was pretty rough! I guess somehow my port turned on its side, so it took the doctor forever to finally inject me, leaving me bruised and in lots of pain! I have already started eating regular food, mainly salad and ground turkey. Its getting easier as the weeks go on....

Update - I've been banded now for almost 3 weeks!!! Time flys! The surgery went well, most of the pain was in the first 3 days. I've started doing cardio exercise, and currently still in the pureed food phase of my diet (I think I liked the liquids better..lol). I'm currently down 22 lbs (mostly during the liquid stage). My first fill date is Aug 19. Any advice during this phase???

I can only imagine how frustrating it is only having liquids . I get banded July 14th, so im trying to mentally prepare myself for the "liquid journey". Hang in there...

Hey there! Nope, not banded yet. My surgery date is July 14th. Counting down...
