  2. Girl, me too (regarding tonights post). banded on 7/6 lost 14lbs because of the liquid diet I'm sure and now I feel that I can eat anything too. I am going for my first fill on monday. I have now lost a total of 21lbs. I can't eat as much as I used to but anything can go down with no problem. Try and stick to like a slim fast and atkins type diet combined. Don't worry, now that you are healing you'll be able to start exercising. I have a wii fit balance board and I go on it faithfully everyday to weigh myself and check my bmi and while i'm on I do the exercises. It helps motivate me because I want to weigh myself every morning and the exercises are actually fun. Do you feel pretty much all healed, I feel like about 90%. In the begining I told my nurse about doing the wii fit and she told me to hold off a bit so I think I'm ready to start doing more of the exercises.   3. I'm sure you will be fine. Think positive all the way. Everyone who hasn't had it done are probably not the people to be talking to at this point they really helped to freak me out. I told all the negative nelly's that they were not helping me at all and that the Dr., shrink and insurance co's made sure I knew what I was doing and made sure I was healthy enough. I think obesity is a bigger health risk than the surgery. The scars don't seem too bad at all that scared me too before surgery. I have a lap band friend that I called quite a few times during the first two weeks if you don't have someone to talk to please feel free to contact me anytime I will be happy to help if I can.
