  1. I'm one too. I weigh every morning on my wii fit balance board. It gives me my weight and bmi daily. Then I do some exercises on the board. I use the tape measure about once a week. I went to disney for 5 days and didn't have a scale and I only lost 1/2 of a pound. Then over the next 3 days of being home I lost 3lbs. I never understood why they say not to weigh yourself everyday. I do so much better when I weigh everyday. I didn't weigh myself for 10 years once and gained 100lbs and then needed a lapband, lol.

  2. I felt the same way, my surgery was 3 1/2 weeks ago. I thought about seriously cancelling all the time. I went for all the preop testing and still wanted to cancel up until the day of surgery. When they were wheeling me in the opperating room I was given the goodnight drug and for the 5 seconds I was awake I was still 2nd guessing. I think its only because everyone you tell about the surgery makes you question yourself. Well let me tell you I've lost 19 lbs and if I didn't have the surgery I would have gone off this diet on week 1 and eaten an entire pizza.

When the surgery was over and they were wheeling me to my room I was like its over? That's it? I feel like I spent 7 months worrying for nothing. The first 2 weeks of liquids was a little rough but now I'm on pureed food and it's filling me fine with the protein drinks. I am so happy I did it. I think about food so much less now. I am going for my first fill a week from monday and I'm sure that will be a change because I still feel like I could eat and have no restriction so I kinda feel like I'm having last supper's again like the weeks before surgery but they are smaller meals. I am happy and have had no pain even the day of surgery I took no pain meds just the nausea meds in the hospital. I had no appetite for about 4 days and about day 5 felt starving and started having cream soups (my husband is a chef and made me amazing soups) if you can find a really good restaurant and get some gourmet soups even chicken broth from a restaurant makes all the difference. I had store bought for about a day, I got sick of it pretty quick. Panera Bread should have some good soups for you and if they are chunky puree them.

  3. Great stuff. I too couldnt eat after the birth of my first child 6 years ago. But just out of being a scared new mom and I lost 35lbs right after having the baby. I was down to 165 and in 4 years up to 195 then after 2nd child down to 175 and now 2years later at 214. Im going for my lapband on 7/6 and by the way still nursing. When is your surgery date? I told dr about nursing and he is ok with it.
