  1. Sure thing. The first thing you need to do is find a reputable lap band doc in your area that accepts tricare. Once you do that, then you need to go to your primary care physician and talk them about wanting to get the lap band and you'd like a referral to that particular doctor. As long as you have a BMI of 38 with at least 2 co-morbities, or a BMI of 40 with no co-morbidities they should set you up!

  2. I am not feeling too bad. Sorry I just got around to writing this. I watched a movie and fell asleep. Go figure.

     

    Good luck with your surgery. I was quite surprised. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am sore...like I did 10000 situps or got tackled in the stomach, but really I'm getting around just fine. I'll keep you in my prayers!
