WOW STEPH!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your DD is Peggers!!! :biggrin: Not much new on the man front, although I did talk to the friend that encouraged him to make a move on me when we went on our ski weekend a few weeks ago, so she's going to talk to him tomorrow night and see if she can encourage him to move forward and forget the past and see if we can be more than friends! Keep your fingers crossed!! I got my 2nd workout for the week in last night...met my guy and another guy friend at the gym and ended up working out longer than I expected to! (Nothing like trying to impress a guy at the gym LOL)! My scale isn't budging though, but I'm guessing it's b/c I'm actually getting some muscle, so I'll just hope that in the next week or so I'll see a nice big drop one day! B'Man...how are you doing girl?? Any news on the job front? Did they give you any severance? Claud and Steph...your Chargers played a good game, but I hate to say it but it's gonna be PATRIOTS all the Way!!! :cool2: Hope you all have a great day!!! Just be careful if you're too tight... I have worked out 2x already this week! I'm really enjoying getting into the workout routine again and hope that I can keep it up for a while! I'd like to lose 30 pounds by the summer! SO....I GOT A JOB! Granted, its only a 90 day contract job for now, but it could lead to a perm position, so I'm happy! I'll have money and benefits again starting monday and the commute is good and it'll be a great project to work on! Woo hoo! I'm so excited! Hope you lovely ladies are doing well and keeping warm!!

Ok, every time I log in this site seems to be changing! First our thread moves, now it looks different!? ARGH...too many changes at once! My boys have a 2 hr snow delay this AM but are disappointed that they aren't getting the whole day off! I FINALLY saw 239.5 on my scale this am!!! I have been floating around in the 240s now for EVER!!! WOOO HOO!!!! I'm so excited!!

Steph!!! Oh that'd be sooo cool if we could meet! I'm about 2 hrs from Richmond, but my oldest has his final wrestling match that day, and will be recognized as a graduating senior! Otherwise I'd actually bring him w/me b/c he's really into the MMA stuff himself!! DANG!!! Will you be in Richmond on the 3rd as well?? Maybe we could do something that day?? Let me know! The job thing that I THOUGHT I had (w/the travel woes), fell through....so I'm still looking but had a good interview this week and am feeling hopeful about it. We'll see!! Men suck...you're right...I think he is scared, so I'm just going to try and pull back a bit and give him his space. We'll see! Yes, I've heard the same thing about exercising in the cold...is that your body has to work harder to stay warm so it burns more calories. Not sure how true it is, but hey, I'll take it!

wow ladies! We have our own forum now!?? We ROCK!!! Sorry I've been MIA...I had family and friends in town for TWO WEEKS over the holidays and am just now recovering and getting my house back in order!!! KAYDOT...congrats on finishing school! BMAN...Happy Birthday Girl!!!! Nikki...Glad to hear the baby is doing OK BOO....how are you doing gal? Did the Docs figure out if your gallbladder is the problem yet or not? As for me...I'm still unemployed, but had a great interview yesterday, so I'm feeling hopeful! I'm supposed to meet w/the CEO by the end of the week. I went away skiing this past weekend w/a big group of people, one of whom is a guy friend i've been interested in for a while...we got drunk in the hot tub one night and well, had an interesting talk about how he's attracted to me, but he doesn't want to lose my friendship or hurt me. He said he's not over his ex fiancee yet....and we fooled around a bit! I'm not really sure what is going on now that we're home...it seems like everything is just back to the way it was before, but I want more! UGH...why do men have to be so difficult!?? I guess I just need to be patient and try to talk to him some more. I'm so afraid of the rejection though...but I guess its better to know than to not. Anywhoo...I also joined a group that is doing a Biggest Loser competition w/another group so I'm going to use this to jump start my weight loss yet again...I really need to get the exercise going again! Brandy....I've got my parents w/me for a WEEK!!! Not that they try to sabotoge me (on purpose at least), but ARGH...I'm just used to having ME SPACE ya know!??? Hey gang! I'm really enjoying the fill I got last week w/Dr. K!! It has really cut down on my hunger and my portion sizes!! YEAH!!! And I've re-lost the weigh I had gained since August...YIPPEE!!! I didn't know about the Map in Dr. Ks office!! Wish I'd noticed it when I was there, but oh well!! As for telling people....I only have a few friends and my immediate family that know b/c I really just don't want to feel like people are watching/judging me all the time. Like someone else said...once you tell, you can't untell!! But I agree that its a personal choice. Some people may want the accountability.... Hope you all have a Happy HOliday!

Hey Ladies!! Man....I'm SUCH an Idiot!!! I don't know WHY oh WHY did I wait so long to go see Dr. K!????? Geesh....I feel Sooo much better now that I've seem him and I'm confident my weight loss will pick up again! *phew*!! I had him see how much was in there. I should have been at 3.5 but was at 3 when he emptied me out. So he put the 3 back in plus .75 so I think I'll have great restriction now! I had some mushy beans/beef out of a burrito (didn't eat the tortilla part) for lunch and it was OK and I'm feeling full still! YIPPEE! Can't wait to see you tonight! My sister (diana) and I will be there at 7!

I got my fill!!! YEAH!! I don't know why I waited so long...duh...stupid me! The Doc pulled out 3ccs (I thought I had 3.5) so that would explain why I was able to eat so much more recently. I just kept on the anti-nasuea (sp?) patch they put on me in surgery and left it on for a few days after and had no issues! Just a thought! SOOO Glad I didn't even attempt to use them! lol I'm about to hop in the shower and head over to see Dr. K!! I can't WAIT!!! I'll be so glad to finally get tight again and see that scale moving! Hey Steph! Thanks for thinking of me...the weather here is cold and clear, so I should have no problem getting to my appt. I'm also meeting a bunch of other patients that have been banded by my surgeon tonight for dinner (it'll be Soup for me!)....so I"m excited about that! Off to shower and go get my fill...YEAH!! Can't WAIT To see that scale start moving downward again!!

Hi Ladies!! Boo...so sorry to hear about the stress!! Hopefully you'll be able to get a break once your finals are done? I'm in CO...made it here w/no problem (Actually got a free ticket out of the deal by getting bumped to a flight that left 1hr after my original flight..not bad!). Get my fill tomorrow...can't wait to talk to my surgeon and ask him how to know if I need a fill or if I've just stretched my pouch. I'm gonna have him take out all the Fluid thats in there just to make sure I still have it all before adding anymore. Anywhoo....hope you're all enjoying the holiday season! Talk to ya soon!

Hey Sexy Ladies!!! How are you all doing?? I finally got a xmas tree today....so lame I had to go get it from Home Depot b/c the weather was so bad this weekend the boys and I couldn't go cut one down like we usually do! Oh well...it'll be up this afternoon! Tomorrow I head to CO (weather permitting in CO...they're supposed to get a big storm) to get my 4th Fill 2 days before my 1 year Bandiversary!! Hard to believe it's been a whole year already!! I had a friend ask me yesterday "If you had to do it all over again, would you still do it?" And my answer was...of course...YES!!! Can't wait to get this next fill and get back on track and hopefully lose my 2nd 60 pounds in my 2nd year and get to Goal once and For All!!!!
