Hey ladies how are you all orginal December 2006 bandster. I have done okay with my band could have done alot better and I know that. I will admit I have found ways to eat around my band and I dont mean ice cream. I mean at meal time like drinking with meals adding more milk or butter to my Pasta to make it go down( it is insane and I know this lol)

I have not gained a single lb but I have not lost any weight since jan 08 I weigh 212. I am still shooting for 170 and have decided I must get there some how. I have a tear in my eye writing this knowing I could have done better even been to goal and maintaing but I am getting back on track today.... I need an adjustment but honestly can't afford one right now my insurance now longer pays for them as of the end of 07. I am getting a fill by the end of July started saving... love you all miss u all tons and Brandi hate to hear about the band that is my biggest fear as I pb alot even still

Just wanted to let all yall know I am well life is well and I searching for a new doc after almost a yr and half of nonsense

TO make a long story short he will not give me proper fills hence i can not lose weight properly..

I am very upset because I know this is why

I only have 2 ccs and my band hold 4.5 cc and my aunt who had the surgery in october has more Fluid than me

I am tired of the nonsense

well I will stop fussing now glad all is well

Okay guys I am almost embarssed to tell this story but here goes so last night I decided I was going to start working out again so I set my alarm one hr early to get started

I have not worked out since I picked my son up at the hospital 4 months ago

well needless to say I lasted 5 mins on the stepper and I was worn out talk about out of shape I used to do over one hr on that thing

I guess baby steps work

I am staying a plan because my son deserves a active mom

boo the baby is so cute

I love little babies

steph you sound like me before I got the flu I was pbing once or more a day but man I lost the weight

hope everyone had a great easter I had a bite of a burger and some chips

all together I was pretty good if we kind of forget about the easter bunny sweets I ate yum

Brandi I envy you so much to have a personal trainer with you. I joined my gym and was told I would and they never have given me the personal trainer I was promised

so I bought my own home gym complete with a bow flex ab lounge

stepper and treadmill bike and a ball but I am still not motivated I am nuts

B man I see you are still a machine and that 18 months will fly by. I think my insurance company has the same policy. I have a horriable rash under my excess skin

Well let me tell you ladies my story recently

1. Our adoption of our son will be final at the end of May. Hooray!! in case yall forgot we picked my son up from the hospital right after he was born and started the adoption process way back then which was November but feels like forever ago. He has grown so much he is 4 months old now and a healthy 15 lbs
   
2. I have had the flu twice:eek: . I had to have my band unfilled because I was not eating enough to get my body well. I have now had some Fluid put back in but not much just 1.6 cc in my 4 cc band. My weight loss stalled in fact I gained ten lbs during my unfill period which was just over one month. I am trying to get back on track and eat right again so hard when you have a train wreck right in the middle of you r prime weight loss period oh well I will pick my self up and do it if it kills me :thumbup:
   
3. I have a lso started a new job in the field i went to school for which was education/social work. I work for a private owned foster/adoptive home agency. I love it
   
4. I promise to ck in more often my baby takes up so much of my time and I love that of course but not much mom time but that is fine
   
5. any advice is greatly appreciated to get my butt back in gear as always ladies I have thought of you every step of my weight loss journey the good :tt2: the bad :biggrin: and the just plain ugly :tt2:
   

Hey Ladies I feel so out of the loop but having a newborn and finding time for anything is hard

I am at a stand still why you ask I am unfilled yikes

I got the flu and my doc made me get my band unfilled so I can eat it is awesome because I have craved so much and I can be naughty a few days. I have only gained about 5 lbs in about a wk and a half which I expected but I am going on v day to have it put all back in

well guys we have been on the adoption list for over two yrs now and on nov 9th we got our baby we got to pick him up from the hospital we are so excited the adoption is not final for 6 months but I could not be more thrilled he has been keeping me busy we named him Ethan aron

I also am planning my pals wedding who gets married in jan

so stressed out

the lady at the bridal store paid me a huge compliment she was helping me with brides maid dresses and said a medium size woman like you would look great in strapless

I thought medium sized last yr at this time I was morbid obese but did not say a word just thanks

I was in school to teach but now days if you look at a kid wrong you have changes on you and things have changed so much in the classroom I just don't think teaching is for me anymore

my hubby uncle died we went to the burial today so sad

everyone was like khristina you have lost so much weight I felt strange talking about weight loss at a burial

anyways my husband and I are on the band wagon to get prego my doc wants us to wait a bit do to the surgery but we are ready to try again my husband and I have been trying for over 3yrs and we are tired of waiting

i feel when god is ready we will be blessed

so if i end up prego yall know i will be thrilled

my foster boys birth mom will not even let us see them I am so sad I have not seen them in over a month feels like a yr or more

I miss them so and pray they are taken care of
