I have to say I had thoughts of backing out too. Although mine were more mental issues. Like how am I going to survive with out my security blanket of food. No that I am through surgery I have a much better attitude about it all. -
I was banded on the 13th. Somethings I am looking forward to... Not being the largest person in the room. Being more confident and not worrying what others are thinking about my weight Being able to run around and play more with my 5y.o. and on and on. Sydney

It is funny, many of us carry our weight well. I don't think anyone would have imagined I was morbidly obese....but I was and needed this surgery. -

Banded yesterday and home from the hospital today. I am a bit sore. And tired due to some poor old guy down the hall yelling all night :w00t: Feels so much better to be home.

Wow, looks like a lot of us are having surgery on the 13th. :confused: Mine is at night, Blah, and my Dr. requires a one night stay for everyone so I won't be home til Friday. Good luck this week, I am on Medifast for my preop. I get 5 medifast products and one lean an green meal a day. I am down 10, not as much as I wanted but a good kickstart :sad: Sydney -
Wow, that sounds like a fun FB group I may have to join, Thanks for the heads up. I have lost 10 lbs on my pre op diet so far, it seems so real and possible now. Surgery in just a few days :confused: *happy dance*

Hey all, I have been working on this since August of last year. Looks as thought I will be banded in May, although no date yet. I am so excited, it has been a loooonnng wait. Good luck all you May folks and keep in touch.

Thanks guys, I wear an 11...and have TONS of cute sexy shoes...but the truth is they hurt like hell on my super big feet. Would love to go down to a 10 to have more selection. :eek:

I paid lots of money for laser on my upper lip and loved it...until I had my sweet girl 5 years ago, now it is thicker and way worse than before. I now wax on my own with an occasional trip to the salon. As for the girly area I use Veet. Nair doesn't work, but I love veet. :eek:
