  1. I would just prefer it to be under the user CP and not in the current location. I hate seeing 0 friends it makes me feel like a loser (and not in the good way.) I get that some of you like to keep track of each other and thats great I just don't want to see that x person has 20 friends and I have none. I know a little childish but I can't help it.

  2. I was going to say the same as Laurinda. Go to 2% stay there for a month or 2 then go to 1% and maybe then skim. I personally drink 1% but when I'm treating myself I drink whole. One thing that I found interesting is that you call whole milk regular, this can be giving you a mental block as regular usually means normal. Try calling it whole milk and slowly transitioning to 2%, 1% or skim.

  3. I would say no. I was in the same situation as you. I waited for winter break and I was soo thankful that I did. I ended getting a stomach virus a day after banding so I needed to be hospitalized for a week. If this was during the semester I would have been screwed. So leave extra room for possible complications and you also have to keep in mind that you will be on major pain killers, a liquid diet, and will generally feel like crap for a little while. Maybe if you have a fluff major you could get away with it, but I would not risk it.

  4. The instead ones are not reusable. I tried them a few years ago and I liked them. Like a tampon if it is inserted right, you can't feel it. It you feel it, take it out and try again. It takes a few times to get used to it. But it is on the expensive side when compared to tampons so I went back to using tampons and pads. Pads for light days, tampons for heavy days.

  5. It's really bad but I have developed this habit. It happens towards the end of the meal, when I am full but I still have food on my plate. The food taste soo good that I chew and spit it and then give it to my dog. It sounds soo bad as I type this but I get such enjoyment of tasting the food. I never knew that there was a name for it, I thought I was the only one that did it.

  6. I don't know if anyone else said this but it is called a buffalo hump. People with certain disease such as cushings get this but you can also get it from plain old fat. Lose weight and lose the pain and the hump!! =)

  7. If you stay in the hospital just comfy clothes they have everything else.

If you stay in a hotel: clothes, lip balm, your own pillows, thats all I can really think of. I was so drugged that I really didn't need much. Just make sure someone is with you, because if you are having a problem they will notice it first.

  8. If you don't mind me asking, how do you see this website. I'm a student nurse and I have encountered several blind people in my practice and I would love to be able to tell them about any programs that are available. Thanks

And OMG that was really really unprofessional the way the hospital didn't even call you or change thier wesite. I would have been soo mad! But don't let this set you back, go to another meeting and see if the lap band is right for you.
