Nice to see that our group has grown to 7 of us so far! I have all my final appointments before surgery on July 20th. Pre-registration at hospital and meet with the anesthesiologist at 9:30 AM, the surgeon at 11:30 AM, the psychologist at 3:00 PM and then ALL DONE till my surgery on August 4th. Yeah!!!!

We'll be able to all help each other! Yeah!

Thanks for starting the August 2009 group! My surgery date is August 4th! My pre-op date is July 20th and I have to start the pre-op diet July 24th. I am just starting my list of what I need to purchase for pre and post op. I am very excited, but a little nervous! Nancy in MA

I'm a little scared too...I don't think it would be normail not to be scared! My pre-op is July 20th. I too have started making behavior changes to get used to not drinking at mealtimes. I always drank when I ate! I wonder how pain meds are going to affect my stomach. With only being able to take sips of Water the first day, I hope I won't be sick to my stomach!

I'm so excited. I got my surgery date today from Dr.Glasgow's office. I am pumped!:thumbup:

I live in the suburbs of Boston. I have met with the surgeon, but still need to see the nutritionist and psychologist. Hope to have a surgery date for July! I have 100 lbs. to lose!!
