Thanks for checking. I am fine. I have been out of town on business. Before I left, I had some redness swelling and pain in one incision. I went in and got my staples out and was put on some antibiotics. Much better now.

I have been dieting and have dropped 10 pounds in preparation for my lap band surgery on April 7. It is ust around the corner and I am getting scared and nervous and excited all at once. Don't be discouraged - just do what you can a day at a time. I have saved up enough to pay the deductible and copay on my surgery and I am ready to move forward!!!!!

I have not had the surgery yet. I just got my approval from my insurance. It only pays 80% too so I have been saving up to pay the rest. I hope they call to set the date really soon. I am ready. I have one boy who is 30 and a girl who is 27. I have one grand daughter who is almost 6. She is my pride and joy. I am tired of hurting and taking medication. I want to get thin and feel better! I do not know of any secondary insurances that will pay the rest. Not sure how that works. Hope you get some leads on that.
