  1. Every doctor is different but my nutritionist has me on 1200 calories and said once I get under 200 I need to go down to 8-900 calories. She said Unless you are super active anymore then that will slow the weight loss if not halt it all together. I am not sure what fruits and veggies you eat but was also told to avoid any veggie not green, because veggies like carrots are high carb as well as fruits like bananas that have to many carbs or sugars. Not sure what you are or aren't doing I just hope this helps :-)
  2. My husband and one friend are all that I told and I kinda wish I hadn't told the one friend because she acts funny now. I don't want to get judged either and even just hearing other people, and friends talk about people who have had lap band and how they took the easy way out makes me crazy.. they don't have a clue. they think this is some miracle fix that takes no work and it makes me so mad! Many who criticize wouldn't even make it through the pre op diet! let alone everything else.. sigh..

  9. Mine was dec 13th :-) wohooo to a new beginning and I can't wait to be off the liquid diet! HAHAHAHHA
  10. Congrats! WOW you are amazing! I was in a lot of pain and it took a little while to get it under control before I could go home because my insurance didn't cover a stay. I did have a hernia repair as well which the doctor said was one of the worst he had seen and he had to use twice the stitches he normally would have so maybe this is where my pain came from? It took me a few days to get up without pain as well! You are a trooper! I was banded 12/13 and just started doing a little better day before yesterday! lol
  11. Congrats! I was banded on 12/13 and also told everyone the same thing although I did have to have a bad hernia repair as well I left out the rest. Didn't want to hear the criticism or the you can just exercise and lose the weight speech from others :-) I am a sahm that home schools as well so I have had a hard time resting like I should of so I am still sore. How are you feeling? My doctor still has me on a clear liquid diet and I can finally go to cream soups on Friday which is seeming like forever! Not that I am starving, I just would like to eat normal food lol
