I did Body For Life in 2001 - 2004 and I lost over 100 lbs, but then I moved out here to California and have 3 online businesses and have gained it all back. But I get banded on August 14th HELL YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and then I will go back on the BFL and pump my self up again while losing. Can't wait!!!!

Hey that is the spirit, start making your chicken stock and take the veggies and the chicken and puree it so that the during the 3 weeks that you start soft foods you have that available man. WOOHOOO Yah:)

I am having the same thoughts and My date is set for August 14th. DON'T GIVE UP MAN. Just go through it, I went to a support group meeting and Monday and met at least 20 people that are in all stages of the procedure and it is going to work. JUST FOLLOW THE DR's orders. Don't cancel, just keep fighting. Look at this guy, he has inspired me. If you've had the surgery What was your "Last Meal" Before the surgery? If you have yet to be banded such as I, "August 14th" What is going to be your "Last Meal" I am going to Las Vegas to have their Buffet's LOL haha It is true!!! :faint: :faint: :faint: :confused:

I am waiting patiently for August 14th but it is not coming quick enough. I noticed also that I am eating bad things because it is "My Last Chance" and I don't want to think like that. What did you do to prepare for your band surgery? Did you lose weight? Did you start the liquid diet early? My Pops is taking me to Las Vegas in August so that we can play poker and have their buffet's for the " LAST TIME " Is this NUTS???? :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint: :) :)

Well, I am glad I am not alone. I can't wait to be like Paul man, Lose all this freakin weight. I am at a huge 369 lbs right now. But I want to get down to 200 lbs So everyone had the "Last Supper" I am going to have mine when I go to Las Vegas. *Bug* that is what I am doing. Man and then I feel guilty, but then I think a few more weeks, a few more weeks. LOL I will check out the Breakfast buffet. Heck yah. It is kinda crazy how when we get closer to this, we start thinking of the one thing that has always comforted us all our lives. :confused: :confused: Well, I hope that I can start eating like a bandster now so that I get myself ready for this. You guys ROCK!!!! I haven't been banded yet :faint: But I am getting banded on August 14th and CAN'T WAIT!!! I would like to start a local group also, we can meet up at a starbucks or the beach or somewhere that is convenient for everyone. There is a meetup that is local on www.meetup.com but it is not just for Lapband it is for everyone that has had WLS surgery. So let me know who would be insterested in starting a group or something. Hello, I am a big dude weighing in at 369lbs I am 6 ft tall and am about to go through my surgery in August. I find my exact Date this week after the holiday. I have done a TON OF RESEARCH and I am glad I am choosing this method. I also have a profile on www.lapband.com I was doing some searches online and I came across this site and I am glad it is here. I am reading a lot of these threads and noticing that when the band is lossened or they have to have it removed then they gain the weight back. My Dr. of course told me this is just a tool. But I just read a book that has actually woke me up about my emotional eating and what drives it. It is called, When food Becomes Love. By Geneen something. I recomend this to everyone and I hope it helps. We all have a dependancy on food and weather we want to believe it or not, it has a lot to do with our past and things that has happened.

I think they look like that because they loose so much weight and now their bodies don't match their heads. If you work out and build some muscle you should be ok. I think.. LOL

Are you serious? He was 359 and now he is 180? Man that just made my day, I was reading a ton of the problems last night and started wondering if it was worth it. But this just really made my day. Does he have any pics? He must look so much different now. I can't picture my self that small but I can't WAIT!!!! I can't wait for the surgery date.
