Yeah my first few days were hell... but it did get easier. I actually just got off my liquid diet on Friday.. I was on it for 3 weeks! But now I'm doing my pureed/mushy stage. The apple sauce, yogurt, creamy soupy stuff phase. What about you? Does your doctor still have you on liquids?

Yeaaah I got my band on the 19th.. And I'm finally starting to feel a little more like myself. How have things been for you?

It took a few months to get in to see my dr. So that he could approve the whole thing. Then I had to do 1 year of dietitian meetings and then just months of crap before I could get my date. My doctor and surgeon were very thorough making sure it was the best thing for me and blah blah blah. Worth the wait though.. 2 more days

I know only a couple more days.. I'm so excited :) This liquid diet is torture though!! Good luck to you too.. I had to wait 18 months before I got my date.. it feels like f o r e v e r but the day will be here before you know it!

YESSS can't wait for the big day... my all liquid diet sucks soo much! haha but totally worth it I'm sure And this site has become sooo addicting to me too

Thanks thanks I see you just got yours.. how's everything going for you? I'm still really nervous my surgery date isn't for another 10 days.. I'll be glad when it's done though this liquid diet is torture.
