  1. Five weeks out and starving. Had two small fills and won't get another one for at least another month. Surgeon believes in taking it slow.

I have to do the weight watcher program or I'll eat everything in sight. 10 pounds in 5 weeks suck but better than going the other way. I also could be exercising to much and putting on muscle.

I'm in it for the long haul so I try not to get discouraged when I see how much weight you guys have lost.

No side effects from day one. I would never known I had surgery unless I look at my scars.

Take care Erin, hope you are feeling better soon.

I use two benefiber packets (citrus punch) in 32 oz of Water and sip on that and it keeps me regular. I would be in pain without it.

  2. I think is it safe to say that most everyone here has certain foods that are addictive for them. Some people have soda or sweets. For me it was chips. I'm pretty proud when I can have a handful and then just walk away. I suppose not everyone can do this with addiction. Alcohol and drugs .... you can't have just one drink or one hit of cocaine. It's a life long journey we are on and it is very individual.

  3. Only two weeks post op and since day one I've been starving. I'm now back on Weight Watchers to control myself. I can eat everything and anything. It's doesn't even feel like I have a band. No fill for at least a few weeks.

Can you really stretch the pouch at the beginning? I'm not sure if things go right through. I had steak last night without a problem.

  4. Has anyone else noticed an increase in the size of their johnson? I'm not bragging, but it noticeably larger. Not just in length, but in girth. :(

Libido Boosting Foods: celery, pumpkin seeds, saurkraut, bananas, almonds, avocados, asparagus, chilies, basil, cardamom, figs and plenty of garlic (then don't forget to brush your teeth cause you never know what else you might need to eat) :sneaky:

  5. (August 4th I had my band)

They had to keep me an extra night because I wear a cpap (but my oxygen level was fine the whole time).

No gas, no pain, slept good, private room, great nurses, got right up and was walking around.

Nothing went wrong. I don't even have pain now.

Am psychologically hungry but when I eat (drink) I'm full.

It honestly feels (today) that I didn't have any kind of surgery. Now the ""fun" beings.

    Amazing.

  6. Would love to know your experiences. Good or Bad !

How would you rate Gens, Looser, Patrioui, Wagner and all the hoops we had to go through?

Would you do it again if you had the choice ?

    Jan in Portsmouth

    Getting banded August 4th, 2009 ^_^
