Way to go Donna! Losing weight, feeling great! Reggie, my meal plan looks good on paper but apparently, not good enough for my belly! In a rut but I know that if I stick with it it will work itself out eventually. Riley, I hope that when I'm banded, down about 40lbs and feeling good that I can adopt that attitude of yours. Simply can't handle the pressure to do well yet. Candra - Tuesday, Poss Wednesday, Firday & Saturday -

No, Donna, I can't do Thursday - I have to pick up my Niece after Summer School at 12:45 in Marin. The only days that really work for me are Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun. I really had to hustle to get a stand in for me for last Thursday. I could possibly do a Wednesday, my neighbor has Wednesdays off. Any chance we could all get together on a Saturday for an activity... Everybody off work and it's not about food (only because I'm cursing every bite right now!) Candi - I like your words of wisdom "it does not control me, I control it" I just might put that on the fridge. However, I'm not going over my calories and really have no desire to eat much more right now - just can't get these last little 4.3lbs off now. Enjoy your movie! Chris - have a great time at the beach - I love that you are so active - gives me hope that I do will have as much energy when I get "healthy". Nicole - keepin my fingers crossed for Mike! Tamra - I haven't told ANYBODY with the exception of my husband and the internet world here. I have a fear of failure so that's my reason - don't want people laughing at me for doing something so drastic as WLS just to stay fat or regain the weight. That's my personal insecurity. It's up to you as to who you trust with your private info and feelings. Hi Pam - I think it's very important for you to understand that I dont want to walk for me! LOL I pray that the "addiction" & "enjoyment" of it all kicks in for me the way it has for Riley and Chris. Truthfully, they are the reason I do it. Trying to keep up the the Jones', so to speak (thanks ladies). Have you tried gettin on the bike & reading like Chris & Heather do? or better yet, get your tiny a$$ in that pool with your new little bathing suit & swim some laps - best exercise in the world and keeps you cool. If there weren't so many old ladies in the pool at my gym blocking all the lanes I'd do that! Tina, congrats on the weight loss while snacking on carbs - I'm jealous! Hope you have an easier day at work today! gotta up that bike ride today by about 15 minutes Stressing off the C25K workout today - hope I do as well today as I did on Monday! It's the exact same routine today so It should be ok. I don't really know if I'm doing it right - I do the brisk walking part at 3 mph & the jog at 3.5 mph - not very fast but I think as long as I'm breaking a sweat (which i definately am) it's all good. -

Tina, I truly had no idea I was walking that far. It doesn't take longer than an hour (I don't thinK) so I figured we were walking a 1.5 mi or so... I think it helps not to know. gotta hit the sack or I'm gonna hit my husbands Mrs. Fields bag. Tomorrow is C25K, Week 1, day 2! Oh, Tamra, will you be weight in in that class since it is a mandatory class and will that weigh in be your starting weight??? I hope so... so you can get started. Jes, what's your secret, how are you getting these last 4lbs off?? Can you take an extra 4 off for me???? I'll pay you per pound -

Evening ladies, Just catching up - my you have been busy today! Tamra, maybe you can email your doctor and at least ask her to schedule your orientation now so that you can get in right after this class. So, you did weight watchers too LOL Ditti's weight loss zone has been around since I did weight watchers many years ago hahahaha Jes - You should weigh but don't be disappointed if it seems higher than you expect - I don't know what Robin's talking about because I weight myself one morning right out of the shower - blew dried my hair first of course lol - anyway - I weighed again right after i got dressed and In that 10 minutes I gained 4.6lbs with my clothes on! so, weigh in just in case but then I'd go to your PCP early in the morning, before breakfast, after you shower, wearing nothing but a sun dress - bra if you must and the lightest flip flops you got and weigh in girlfriend! Tina, don't beat yourself up hahaha - that's my thing! Hi Donna, my honesty is what always messes me up in the end Here's what I really want to say "My Scale still not budging. Barely eating crap, walking more than I ever have before - JOGGED EVEN! sweatin like a pig and for no reason... My husbands in there eating Mrs. Fields chocolate peanut butter bars right now - Really pisses me off !!!!!!!!" How's that for brutal honesty LMAO Oh, well, I gotta just keep on doing what I'm suppose to do and the scale will move when it's ready! How are you girlfriend? Ok, Riley & Christine - don't take this the wrong way because I still HATE exercise... But my husband may have pointed out a small NSV tonight - as we were walking up the last hill and i was complaining as usual about how hard it is for me to carry my fat ass all the way up it he pointed out that last month he would have to stand at the top of the hill & wait for me because i was only half way up and now, I am only a few feet behind him - so it must be getting easier for me. I did notice that we are taking the exact same route but it went down from 10,090 steps to 8,463 steps the last week or so. Hmmm? Can't figure that out so I jumped in the car as soon as I got back & drove it and OMG I had no idea we were walking 4.2 miles. I think I will see how long it actually takes us next time. B - 2 hard boiled eggs L - 1/2 C chicken salad w/2tsp mayo, 1/2 tomato D - 4 oz BBQ Salmon steak, half a tomato & 1/4 cucumber with a little red wine vinegar & garlic herb mix. I will start getting on the calorie counting asap Candy, I'm free every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday for lunch or whatever. Ha, just flipping thru the stations and found some reality thing called Diet Tribe - We are the lap-band Tribe -

Good Morning All, I agree that it's this comrodery that keeps us all going. If I didn't have you all I wouldn't have gotten this far! riley, I think you can eat more because you are so active and burn so so so many calories! Pam I am so glad you broke thru that platau - do you realize that in the last week you've lost just as much weight as you did in the last 5 months! That's awsome! Will power seems to be a four letter word for me! But I really am inspired to do better now! gotta run - hit the shower and get my day started - so behind schedule! haven't even done my walk yet this morning. I have another headache and my maxalt isn't really working on this one so well grrrr! -

yeah, Tina!! Size 16 - whoo hoo!! I'll take those 18's & 20's! Ha, we are the new sisterhood of the traveling pants LOL. Tina, I'll still be here when you reach goal! Good, Jes, I worry about those ankles - like Heather's knees! Be sure to get something supportive - I think Riley had some problems with her ankles, maybe you could get some tips from her. So, I hope your husband is ok - nothing serious. I can't believe he WANTED to be put under - unnecesary danger - why couldn't they numb the area? -

Well, Christine, I think a congratulations is in order so "Congratulations". Hearing this info makes me proud of you too. Have fun tomorrow - I live 1 mile from marine world (animal kingdom) and i havent been there once this season. WTF is up with me LOL Reggie, if you could only see yourself thru our eyes! I get what you're saying though - even when I got all the way down to a 12 I still walked to the plus size section of the store first. I sometimes ponder that the "fat" image we have of ourselves is what keeps us fat - even if we lose it we gain it back because that's how we see ourselves. They always say visualization is the key - lets try to visualize ourselves as thin women! Smart thinking, Tamra! We will get you on the C25K as soon as you have orientation! I'll come meet with you if you need a push - you can put your daughter in the stroller - ooh, maybe we can find you one of those jogger stollers! am I getting ahead of myself? LOL Ok, Rosie, I sent you the link to find us here and I'm gonna get you at the next meet if you don't join in soon! Riley you better watch out, I'm gonna be marathoning it with you soon! Hope I can be diligent and accountable like my little soldier girl, Christine, and see this thru!! This forum is what's keeping me from eating myself to oblivion tonight!! -

COUCH TO 5K, WEEK 1, DAY 1 COMPLETE! Ok, so , not as hard as I expected but not easy for me. the last two intervals were rough but I WAS JOGGIN! ME, YES I DID! Reggie, how nice to have your height! I wish i was tall - I'm 5'3" but always wear tall shoes! gotta balance out my width! You look great, easy to see why your husband was/is trippin so hard - LOL Christine, anybody ever tell you you're like a little soldiier! You're so diligent and accountable to yourself - It's amazing how you stick to your program! I'm gonna try harder to be accountable too. Tamra, C25K is like Heather said, A program to get your a$$ off the couch and on the track - so to speak. It's a 9 week program, 3 days per week and starts out slow to build you up. I will get you the link to the program and the podcasts I am using. It would be great to have a C25K partner - you down?? Anybody down?? Hi Tina! nice to see your closet floor again, isn't it - LOL. Now you can say "I can't go, I don't have a thing to wear" and mean it hahahaha -

Reggie, those pics are great! I think your scale is busted for real because you do not look like you weigh as much as you say you do!! Georgious lady!! I messed up big time today - slacked off - really gotta get back to my 1/2 c container routine - I ran out of the house unprepared today and all I had was a decaf americano with soy milk & 1pkt splenda. So, needless to say, when I got home at 4 I was starving and ate 4 grilled chicken strips and 1 hamberger patty. Only had 1L of water today. I told you all I was a slacker!! Still feel very hungry. Went to get on my treadmill & there is something wrong with it! I think it's time for the hubby to oil it cuz it's not spinning. so I sit here thinking ahh, don't really hafta start the C25k tonight. However, I will beat myself silly If I don't so looks like I will try to find some flat ground around here or resort to my gym - grrr! I really don't want to try to run & possibly fail in front of people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tina - I get the night time munchies something awful! I really need to find a project to keep me from wanting to eat at night. And, like you, still not addicted to that exercise at all - AND it's still not getting any easier for me either. I've been doing all this walking for a 7 weeks and not one bit easier! Scale not still not moving either - think I will follow your lead Christine and have the scale hidden - Maybe if i get back to my routine for a week and without weighing it will be down that 4 pounds when I do jump on it. -

Go Jes, 1 down, 3 to go! I don't understand what my problem is, when I was eating 5 times a day (small meals) I was losing - but now that I'm trying to stick to 3 times a day like Robin wants, I can't lose anything - I think I need to go back to what works for me! Yeat Tina! 10 weeks and a whole new wardrobe!! I sometimes can fit 20's Mostly 18 - So I'd love to look thru your stuff. Tina, I think you are very trendy for 38 - no, scratch that, you are very tredy for 25!! Tamra, I know that the Sacramento group is the 4th saturday of every month - then the Richmond one is the 1st Wednesday of the month - but Jes, didn't you say the Richmond group meets twice a month? Anyway, Tamra, if you can't get to the Sac meeting next month I can pick up the clothes from Tina and bring them to you. So, today is the day that I try to begin the C25K! I'm afraid I will fail horribly but... We shall See! I've NEVER ran or jogged before!! But, once again, I am desperate - I need to get this last little 4lbs off ASAP! -

Heather, I really liked the thought of that triathalon too but I'm afraid I would be the biggest looser and not in a good way LOL. Let's make a deal to do it next year for sure - when we've gotten into better shape! Tina, I wish I ddin't have any carbs in the house but the only way that would happen is in divorce court! I want applejacks too - please take the box away  ok, gonna hit the shower & then off to bed - gotten get my nephew by 9 am sweet dreams ladies
