Hey reggie, is there any difference between lemon and lime? I prefer Limes? more cals or carbs or something...?

Well, then, time to switch back to water, just add lemon LOL. No, I don't always wait an hour - excuse: I try to get all my water in by 3:00 or else Im up Pee-ing ALL night. I will switch up and wait the hour! So many rules! I guess its a trade off, rules need to be followed to be thin - not trying to get skinny!
  4. five days and counting you sexy thing!

Thanks reggie - I will eat that and only that menu till my 4.9lbs are gone - it's probably more by now but not speaking to my scale so I don't know yet! Hi Pam - good to hear from ya - sorry bout the peach but it looks like Jane has the answer to that! Ok, is it petaluma walk time yet - I just can't seem to sit still today - did someone spike my CL? I love feeling energetic but it only happens once every blue moon! Got kind of a small compliment today - one of the gals in the office next to me asked me this morning how much weight I've lost! I told her none but she said that she can see a difference. She asked what i was doing and I said "nothing - walking more" I'm not prepared to tell anybody about this crusade I'm on yet so mums the word still.

I have a thought regarding the crystal light - I usually have the decaf ice tea or the rasberry Ice - not too sweet. Anyway, so today, I filled up my 3L jug and only used half the amount of grapefruit that I would use of the others - so, actually, I'm drinking 1/2 the amount than I normally would and it tastes good. so that's my strategy for now to get in less CL and more water.

I want in on the group scale chat! Thanks Nicole, I just got on - I was having heart failure - what would I do without my girls!!! Database error - WTF! Maybe we have overloaded the system! Good luck to Mike to day!! Oh, my PCP told me I had PCOS! I had the test done immediately and I don't have it - I'm just lucky enough to have the symptoms LOL Heather, aren't you the lucky one with the nice scale! Mine is on Time Out - I'm not speaking to it and I haven't since it raised my weight .9lbs - grrrr! Glad you're having so much fun Christine - can't wait to be that person! "EXERCISE" should be lump in as two four letter words! It really is a chore and I hate it! I did get my big butt up this morning - not quite at 4:30 - but 6:00 and did my C25K, Week 2, day 2 this morning and was watching that stupid clock that is right in front of my tread mill waiting for it to be over! Anybody thout of hypnotherapy? maybe that would work to change my mindset.. Just don't think I can be hypnotized though. I'm too skeptical of it. I love the skechers Mary Janes and I want them to wear around the house and while shopping! Just cost too damn much to have two pairs! Tina, hope you feel better soon!
  8. Girl you are way to cute to be trippin off some damn thighs!
  9. Hey girl, can you come to lunch Friday? If not, can you come to petaluma and walk with us on a saturday?

endocrinologist basically studies hormones, how they function. when you put in skechers shape ups in the google search, click on images instead of web and you can probably see some that way

i didn't realize they were good for your knees - that's great! I got mine at the skechers store in the concord mall. My husband had to have his ordered online because they didn't have his size. We tried the skechers outlet but they didn't have them. I got the all white leather ones & the hubby got the all black lether ones. i would like to get the ones that look like mary janes but don't have that kinda extra money sittin around! MBT makes some like it that look nice but they are way outta my price range - like $250 bucks - so I settled for skechers. Glad I did because the MBT's don't have as good a review.

They're called shap ups. Now you all know how in shape my husband is - he even works out his calves on a regular basis and tonight, his are a little sore too as well as his quads. They are not heavy at all! They don't put me off balance - what it is is like the heel of the shoe is almost gone. so you are extending your legs without even trying. they are a little mushy so it's ALMOST like walking in a jumping balloon. GO JESS WITH YOUR .6LBS TO GO! I'm proud of you girl - workin it out! I'm holding steady at 4.9 now to go. Can't figure it out - grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Just got off the phone with my Aunt - she just finished her last round of Chemo & Radiation - she has lung cancer - so every body pray for her that her scan comes out clean. Tina, just ask for the referrral - it couldn't hurt! Since i was 16 I was told that my thyroid was sluggish but nothing to worry about just to keep an eye on it - Tired of watching it, time to do something about it! Tina, only an endocrinologist can tell you if your thyroid is functioning properly not some little blood test so go for it! It could have something to do with your other symptoms! Ok, so about those damn shoes - they do make you about 2in taller. But, reggie, my butt does hurt now and my calves are really sore! Guess they do work - imagine how much better they'll work once I actually watch the video and use them correctly - LOL Need to do my C25K in the am but I'm afraid it won't go to well with these legs of mine right now - Nicole, I was worried to start week 2 but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and you're in much better shape than I am.

Hi Ladies, Yes, Donna, I'm back in action. Just a wee little set back. I did contact my doctor, finally, to complain! why havent' I lost weight in the last month. We went over my calorie intake & exercise routines - so now I'm going to the endocrinologist on the 21st - hmmm? we shall see if it makes a difference. If not, I'm calling 1-800-Jenny! riley you are such a worker bee with all your exercise! Ok, so who was it that said they have the shape up shoes? Nicole, didn't you say the duck had a broken leg - did you fix it? The place he/she's going to will be able to fix it? Did you give the ducky some good pain meds :smile2: I want a duck - because my 4 cats and 2 dogs aren't really enough animals. LOL Hey Heather - good luck on those midterms!

Riley, your so darn cute! I'm trying to avoid all those yummy treats - I hope I don't slow you down on an 8 mile walk! Liz would really enjoy this - she said we should do activity meetups as oppose to lunch meetups! Reggie, I've only walked in them once - just this morning - so I'm not real sure how much they work yet. I can tell you that I really feel it in my calves now, which I never have before. They are not inexpensive, I'll tell you that! I normally shop in the youth section cuz they cost less but they didn't have these in the youth section LOL. $110.00! I haven't watched the video that it comes with yet that tells you how to maximize the walk and what way works what portion of the body. I'll get back to you on that. Nicole, was it you that said you have these shoes? Somebody else has them, I know it! They may know better how good they work.

Jess lives by me too and so does Tamra so we can all hook up - And anybody else who wants to do the traveling!!! Ok, so my husband and his bright flippin ideas! We got the skechers shape ups and we walked in them this morning and, now, on top of sore thighs from C25K that I also did this AM - Week 2, day 1 complete - I have sore calves! Grrr! All this pain with no gain - is it worth it? Hmmmmm?

I PM'd you - hope you get it soon or got it but I'll call you when I get out of here. glad you got your fill - and all that flippin weight you're losing!!! What is the actual address to Mimi's? Reggie, I'd like a copy of your sample menu - seriously, can't get these last few lbs off to save my life! Can't wait to actually meet you Friday - whoo hoo! Pam, have so much fun at six flags! but you will be missed Friday! Tina - my weight is ALL OVER THE F*&^! PLACE TOO. I feel your pain. I don't know what is going on - I've emailed my Doc to have my thyroid checked - just in case - I have never NOT cheated on a diet, nor have I ever exercised so consitantly so I should be a size 8 by now - LOL. Seriously, I don't understand why I'm not losing anything at all - and sometimes my wight is up! GRRRR Tanifaire - Welcome. Looking forward to meeting you Friday and following your success. So, ladies, remeber Jessika/pnkpassion? She finally got approved by her insurance and no sooner did they approve it, her doctor moved her surgery date up to July 14th - whoo hoo! No required prior weight loss or special diet or anything! Guess things are a little different in Georgia - LOL. So, good for her!
