Hi Ladies, So today is day 3 of this stupid headache! I hate having to take maxalt in the morning because I'm sluggish all day. Sorry Donna, I can't do lunch this week - maybe next week - you know Im available on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Reggie - When is the get together at your place? I had a nice day yesterday - got to hang with Nicole, Auds & Mike. My husband and I went to lunch with them after Nicole & I went shopping - wait till you guys see her in her cute little outfit - skinny jeans - woo hoo! Nicole - Auds is fine - she is a typical toddler! Ok, so it's obvious that she doesn't feel great right now but screw that lady and her funny looks! You do what feels right for you and your kid! I say, let her amuse herself as long as she is safe. It's not like she was running around the restaurant or anything - she was in the booth! So, I really want a coffee this morning! But I'm not having anything till after I get weighed in - wich isn't till 2:30 - grrr! Got my binder and am ready for Liz - not nervous at all, just want to hurry and weigh in so I can have something to eat/drink. Jes - I will post the whole experience as soon as I get home! -

Oh, yeah - Christine - back away from the goldfish! Carbs are ment to be addicting - they have sugar in them! Sugar is sososo addicting and that's why they put it in EVERYTHING - to make you want more! I've even found it in some brands of Garlic Salt! some type of chemicle thing in the brain - they did a story on it on MSMBC. Tamra - try this for breakfast - I love it!! -

Good Morning ladies - Whew - just got caught up on all the posts I missed - so much to try to remember to respond to! Nicole - First of all - FYI - almost everybody on my facebook is family (blood & inlaws) NONE OF THEM KNOW I'M GETTING BANDED SO MUMS THE WORD! I am really, really praying for Mike extra this time - I would so so so love to have you in Vallejo!! YEAH!! So I've never heard of this Cricut thing so I need to check it out - I'd pay to learn how to use it! Got your message - will be waiting for your call around 4 or so! Donna, how was the concert? So sad I got stuck in Vacaville all night but that was my last Saturday helping my friend!!!!!! 3 in a row is enough - I was hoping to hook up with you for a minute while you were hear but I didn't get back to the V till 10:45 pm -. Go Tamra with our 2x Girl! We all have "bad" days so don't worry about it - just be sure to pick yourself up and start over as soon as you realize you've messed up! This is a LEARNING process for all of us! I honestly believe that is the reason they make us lose weight first - so that we can honestly decide if we can do this for the rest of our lives! Can't wait to see photos in your new sun dresses! - and congrats on your weight loss! Heather - PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU FIND THAT WAND - I'd love to borrow it! So, you'e hit one of those wonderful plateaus! Have you tried cutting the carbs for a few days to jump start it? Riley, if you don't mind me asking - what happened to your ex? It sounds so tragic and sad! My parents were both screwed up - drugs & alcohol though, not so tragic - anyway, as they got more and more irresponsible they lost ALL our photos between moving and not paying for storage! anyway, I was able to get a few childhood pics from family and friends of my parents. I'm probably real late on this one (haha) but have you tried that? OH, and I LOVE, love Sudoku! I have it on my computer at home and at work I play it on websudoku.com. It really keeps my mind occupied at night! Tina - how you doing girlfriend? I hate that you're having such a hard time! Hope it gets better soon - Jury duty? sounds fun LOL How are things at work going - any news? Yeah, Maria - you like Dr. Baggs - I think it really helps with you like your surgeon! I know there was something else I wanted to say - darn it! I forgot - Grrr! -

Oh, boy - we think we got troubles - these people on TV are "Sleep Eaters" they get up about 6 - 7 times a night and raid the fridge - brownies, cookies, chips - soda! They have no knowledge of it in the morning but are tired during the day. Weird sleep disorder! -

Tina, so glad it's finally working out for you - you have conquered the band! LOL Nicole - Auds is adorable and I appreciate the offer but NO THANKS. Hey what hotel do you stay at? Donna needs a referral - she's going on Sunday to Marine World/Discovery Kingdom. You should PM her and give her the 411. i know it's sad that I live here and have no clue BUT... I live here and never stay at the hotels here LOL Tamra, I agree with Heather - as I posted before, I knew my body didn't work with carbs at all but tried it the 1200 cal way for two weeks just to be sure - I gained weight so Dr. Fisher told me to cut the carbs. Nobody knows your body like you do - I just know mine because of ALL the previous diets I've been on! Here is what I do know for fact though, sugar (carbs) are designed to make you want/crave more - that is why they put it in everything. Protein & fat keep you full longer and have no craving side effects. For some, sugar substitutes trigger the cravings - they don't for me. I'm watching discovory ID - they are just now telling us that lack of sleep causes weight gain. -
Hi Paige - just checkin in with you - how are you feeling today? Would love to hear from you!!

How's your day going Tina? I got a good one for you - This morning I was getting dressed and I pulled out a new pair of old navy flirt jeans that I had bought about 6 weeks ago - only wore them twice! I thought I was cute - till my husband walked in! He was kind enough to point out that I had diaper butt and the saggy booty pants were not cute! I guess it does take somebody else to point out when your jeans are too big. -

Riley, I took my test the day I got the binder - while i was sitting in orientation - Is there another test that she's gonna give me when I'm there? Love my decaf coffee! Keeps me full for hours - I just get the Americano - no syrups or anything like that. I do, sometimes put cream in it - heavy whipping cream cuz it's a fat and not a carb like milk. Just a little. and 1pkt splenda. Don't know how many cals it is and I really don't care! I'm not giving that up along with everything else I already gave up LOL As long as I'm losing, that is. -

Oh, have fun Pam - I love skating! Lets see, Monday night - hmmmm - I'm hangin with my girl Nicole LOL I have a thought - Nicole, are you near Tina? You can bring the clothes with you Monday to me and I can hook up with Tamra - I work right next to her - and Martinez is close to vallejo. So, I just got back from DMV - took my niece to get her permit and wouldn't you know it, she failed. I gave her an additional 2 hours to study today before we went to DMV and when I went in to check on her she was SLEEPING! said she knew it all already - bull crap! So, lets see, $60.00 for the drivers ed, $25.00 for cert. $95.00 for drivers training & $28.00 for DMV permit test - and she sleeps! ungrateful brat! Oh, lets not forget the $50 I just spent on Kaiser this morning for her! Now she's mad that I won't take her to her friends house 45 minutes away in Friday evening rush hour traffice - anybody need a teenage girl - free to a good home, she doesn't eat much and she's real cute :crying: -

WOW - can't you all just give me cheet sheet or something - tell me what questions she's gonna ask - I have such a TERRIBLE memory - can she fail me? kick me out of the program?? Jes, I'm confused - wait till September for what? Your EKG can't be more than 1 month old when you have surgery so since they've already ordered the EKG and it's been done, the surgery should be within the next 30 days. My appt with Liz is wednesday! Ok, so I had a hoorible scare yesterday - Just for the F**K of it I decided to weigh myself late in the day after I've eaten & drinken all my water just to see what the scale would say since my appt with liz is so late in the day - that damn scale said 205.8 - Holly Crap! I gained weight in the last 3 days! So, I weighed myself this morning after I dried my hair and it said 201.9 whew! Guess it's starvation mode for me on wenesday - no food or water during the day! -

Do I really have to know the binder - I did the test way back when and haven't opened it since - all the info i need i get from you guys - guess I better study it! Grrr - I don't have good retention at all - I am memory challenged! Tina, I MAY be banded by the end of the month - but I MAY fail liz's binder test LOL. the hubby is ok I think - his big worry was the extra skin (he finally admitted) but i don't think it will be a problem. I've been 160 before - after being 275 and it wasn't really any worse than it is now LOL. Riley Jane - I can not wait to see you in that dress - PICTURES!!!! Good price too!! I am very jealous of the size 12. You are doing so great - jealous of that too hahaha - 100 lbs lost forever woo hoo I'd like to be at that party!!!!! will there be cake LMAO -

Heather, I'm so with you on the exercise. I haven't done it in a week since I was helping my girlfriend move - My body was too sore and now I don't have the motivation to get back on my treadmill. My walk to Starbucks is about all I'm getting right about now - LOL -

I can't wait to get to the point that i don't think about food all the time. I mostly want to eat when I'm sitting around at night with nothing else to do and that was ALWAYS my downfall.. I can go all day without eating but then the evening comes and i can't stop eating. Hey, Tamra - what works for me in the evenings is a big fat hot cup of decaf with a little cream & splenda. I find that keeps me pretty busy for a while and full for a few hours. When I have $ I walk to starbucks - it's close - and I get a Venti, decaf americano! Yuuummmmmyyyyy!! -
Ok, so I'm changing my post because I just saw that this was from 2008 LOL

Tamra, so far the ONLY time i've gone in just to weigh was when I hit my surgery goal weight. I needed to have that documented on the Kaiser system before Dr. Fisher would move forward. But for every appt you do have they will weigh you. so, when you go to see the psych, you'll get weighed. When you go to see Liz, you'll get weighed. I didn't get weighed when I did my labs & EKG though. But you don't go just to get weighed except for the goal weight. I just showed up at my Dr. office - thanks to Nicole! - and they had a nurse weigh me and document it in the system - I didn't even pay my co-pay LOL - just walked in and asked to be weighed.
