Oh, yeah - lol congratulations on orientation! Girl, it's all down hill from there. Funny you mention tatoo or something... I told Jes last night that as soon as I'm up and running after surgery I'm going to get a t-shirt that says "I'm on the band wagon" or something silly like that - so excited - afraid of tatoos.!!

Hey Girl - FYI "WE" opt to put our first names on here but others may not like to have their real names given let alone their full (last) names too.

You are definately considered pre op simply because you have never had any wls before LOL. You don't need any qualifications to come to any of the support groups. It's from 11 - 2 shoot, is that right - why am I having a brain fart suddenly? Donna, Help!

Welcome Sa_Zu! I talked to my doctor about the band and he sent in the referral while I was sitting in his office still! FYI: Richmond Kaiser is #4 (is that right?) in the country for bariatrics surgery! Ok, so the class last night wasn't as "informational" as I expected or hoped it would be. It was more like a college class and we didn't get to mingle at all with the post ops! Very disappointed because that was the who reason I went!! The best part was getting to see Jes & FINALLY meeting Tamra!! Tamra - no onion breath baby girl - you're all good! I had coffee & tuna breath LOL Have a great fill today ladies!

You shoulda asked why that can't be right, then you shoulda said actually, it's 54.7! It is very noticeable Heather, you look great and it's only gonna get better or worse if you don't care for the attention - LOL I've told a couple of people around here that I started smoking crack - they laugh and I walk away hahahaha
  7. How are you feeling? Tummy tuck all that you hoped for? Can't wait to see the new pics! I FINALLY have my band date 9.14.09 - can't wait to see you on the band side!

have you been eating too many sweets? maybe you're having sugar withdrawls - that happened to me when I cut out all the carbs. Try to taper off slowly

Nicole - that happens to me all the time that's why I hate eating breakfast! Liz said it's because you are jump starting your metabolism. Chris - good to know but you'll have to remind me of that when my time comes for fills - LOL Ok, so my boss just said to me that he's just sick of himself and wants to join a mens group - I told him that's TMI for me and that is something he needs to discuss with his wife. Crazy man!

Hi All, Donna you are my #1 Support person - so come on down! However, looking in the mirror is a no-no still - I actually teared up just looking at the pics of myself from Reggies house - I hate that feeling! Nicole - I cry over animals ALL THE TIME. I saw a dead dog on the side of the road the other day and cried all the way home (20 min) My first thought was that the jerk that hit him didn't even stop to help so that poor doggie suffered till he died! I hate people! I think I need to join PITA. Also, I cry on that Sarah McGloclin (sp) commercial every time and when they were advertising for propostion 3 I think it was with the animals - oh boy don't get me started! They are defenseless and I feel it is our job to help and protect them GRRRRRRR! Tamra - the burger is fine - just no ketchup full of cals & suger - they probably dont put it on there anyway but just be sure. Breakfast is a hard one for me too! I love eggs but get tired of them after a while. I have these "oopsie rolls" that I make and pop them in the toaster sometimes in the am and that's good. Only 1 carb ea. I'll get you the recipe or send you the link. Pammie (my aunt has a friend name Pam but I've never met her - anyway when she talks about her she calls her "Pammie" so that is what has stuck with me - let me know if it bothers you) 1 year bandiversary - holy cow! and you've lost alot of weight! I say new red bra & panties to go with that dress! Speaking of new bra - Reggie, got my new bra on - never thought I could do one with no underwire but it's working pretty good - lovin it so I gotta get in touch with your sister for some more! Jes - do you have to be 18? My niece would love to do it but she's only 15 1/2.

Heather, that teacher sounds an awful lot like my boss!! he actually pulls his hair when he's yelling at me. I get to throw him out of my office though - kinda rewarding LOL. Get a good nights sleep and let us know how it worked out hahaha. Sweet dreams!

    Kaiser Richmond Pre-op

Hey Nicole - I get like that all the time - menopaus perhaps LOL seriously, that's what use to happen to me before I got full on pannic attacs - I chalk it up to anxiety. You got alot going on! believe me, the lewis' noticed! They just didn't know what to say like "you look great" but that would be like saying you looked like crap before. Or "you're so thin" but again, that's say you were so fat before. some people just don't know how to approach sensative subjects. but you best believe they're talking about you behind your back right now LOL but in a good way!!

I hear ya jes. i got my centrum chewables (I already take em but I only had 2 left LOL) I got some suger free calcium - forgot the brand but I got them at Wally in a yellow ziplock package. I got my protein shots and that's all. Oh, picked up my wellbutrin non SR today and got my labs done - gotta get some checken broth & some more herb tea - also wanna get some SF Jello & SF popsicles. can't get the jello & popsicles too early though cuz my brothers kids will eat em all ! Oh, I love tomato soup - I can have that on full liquids so i should get some of that too - gotta get that milk of magnesia too. Oh, boy the list goes on - I should be writing this down so i can remember to pick it up LOL

I missed it - maybe I'll get lucky and see a clip on youtube. I like dr Oz too. You know who I love is Dr. Dean Edell - he hates the cliche' that fat people are unhealthy! He said vitamins don't really do much and he never drinks water - my kinda doc LOL

Riley, borders told me the same thing you have to order it. i haven't exactly followed thru with all of it - I find i have you guys and that's better for me than a workbook! Workbooks don't talk back nor do they put me in my place when I'm messin up. Pam - that man doesn't deserve you! I think he's either playing games or he's confused... either way, not what you need. Just a little reminder about FaceBook - nobody on there knows I'm getting banded. Most of those people are my inlaws and/or cousins so mums the word for now. I think anonymity is important. I recall somebody mentioning a coworker was getting this done and gave her full name. She may not have liked that HMMM?
  25. come back and chat with us at kaiser richmond pre op. So is Decatur any where near Bessemer? that's where my husband is from?
