    forever????????

Hey Girl - I agree with the x-drug addict theory! They say once an addict, ALWAYS an addict so you're right to keep it in your thoughts. Daily exercise is suppose to be a good thing and you need it to maintain a healthy life style. I wish you could "relax" a bit and not let it stress you out so much, though. As long as you continue to work your program you won't gain it back! Maybe talk to a trainer to find a new, balanced routine for maintainance. Maybe you won't have to work out so "hard" anymore or so often. This is your time to shine and enjoy your success!!!!

Ash, all the Docs push RNY - because you can NOT fail at losing the weight. However, you can fail at keeping it off with RNY and there's not going to get a fill LOL. Even Richmond pushes RNY as the first option. You call the shots so don't worry about it! You're on the band wagon girl.... Congrats!

Hey All, Tina so sorry you were sick but nice to hear from you so much while you're home  Problems with the band: NOT ENOUGH FLUID! Seriously, in the beginning it's hard because there is barely any fluid in it and it's like it's not even there but once you heal from surgery and start to get your fills it will be so perfect. Just look at Jane! She is where we will all be one day!!!!!!! I messed up so bad yesterday! My cousin is here from New Mexico and she's staying at our Nona's house. Nona passed away last January so in her honor, my cousin, Denise, decided to make her macaroni & gravy - why I ask you since I specifically told her that I CAN'T EAT CARBS. So, that what i ate for dinner last night along with rosemary & olive oil bread - and I was able to eat a whole bowl of it... Then, traditionally, it's a shot of whiskey chased with a sees chocolate. Well, I don't drink so I skipped the shot but can somebody then explain to me why I needed the chocolate chaser??? Hmmmm? Not a good night.
  6. I'm with you on that! I think there was one last night wich means the next on is the 18th. Everybody is getting together next weekend, the 14th to hang - come with us!

  7. I didn't have to do a liquid diet but had to lose 10% of my body weight first - I actually lost 33lbs pre op - but that was easier than this! 12 week waiting period sucks

  8. Girl, ur dome is slender! How long after surgery till you got your first fill..... This is killin me! I only have 2.5cc's and I have to wait till my 12 week appt (another 5 weeks) to get a fill.... Grrrr!

  9. You rock white well! Who knew under all that you had such a hot figure! Hope I got one too underneath all my rolls LOL

for my experts... How long after surgery was it till you got a fill? I "may" get one at my 12 week (3 friggin months) appt. Which, I might add that The Doc hasn't scheduled yet.... He told me on 10/21 when I say him that he was going to have my 12 week appt scheduled for me... Grrrr! Love him but he seems to be a bit forgetful. Who has Sarah's number handy?

Ash, I dont think so... Check to see which surgeons do that one cuz I know some of these ladies did their orientation in Vacaville but it is still the Richmond Surgeons and their surgeries will still be done in Richmond. You can call Richmond - somebody please give her the number - and see if they can get you in there - just tell them that you were sent to Fremont and that is really inconvenient for you.

I'M HUNGRY  It seems like I got off my diet after surgery and now I can't get back on it... Grrrr! So, Monique - I'm with you.... LETS DO THE DAMN THANG!

Ooh, Ash.... I just ate! It's ok to go above it!! I don't have any problems staying fat LOL. Have you tried to call your PCP's office and speak to one of the gals at the desk? I would just pop in there today if you don't hear back from her and have a chit chat with them.

Hey Ash - Nice to see ya here! so the co-pay for the surgery is the same as your doctor visits! I had the same BMI issues - not to worry though, once you get the referral from your PCP you are in. I was worried that I would be kicked out after I lost my pre op weight but was told that once you're in, you're in! I say get a new PCP - mine responds within the hour - always!! Good luck to you and look forward to chatting with ya

Rub it in why don't cha, Donna! I have an issue with Carbs.. Since the 1200 cal diet is mostly carbs I gained weight following it - I'm just saying to watch the scale after 3 days - dont wait two weeks like I did! If you haven't lost anything in 3 days cut out the carbs! Don't be worried - be stoked! This is it! The last time you will ever have to lose weight!!!!!!!!!!

go Liz, it's your birthday - I so remember being right where you're at - about 5.5 months ago - wooooooo hooooooo After lunch tomorrow you guys can grocery shop for your 1200 calorie diet food! Watch the scale ladies to be sure you don't wind up 4lbs bigger in two weeks like I did - I was so bummed!

It's up to all of you as to where we meet on the 14th - some of us are going to roll up to the Santa Rosa support group first then meet around 1:00 in either Vallejo or Petaluma - You guys make the call! I think Vallejo works best for Donna, Heather & Nicole - I believe Nicollie, Liz & Maria are rolling to Santa Rosa with me & Jewel. Maybe Monique & Tamra can roll together since you are both from the same area - hook up you two!!!!! I BELIEVE IN THE BUDDY SYSTEM

Good job Monique - I am having a difficult time getting back on track - I had a coffee & egg salad for Bfast - for lunch I had 1/2 avacado & 1/2c chicken salad - ooh but I want to eat still! Drinking my water right now and debating on who I need to hold at gunpoint for a fill. I was poking around on this site and found that so many people get their first fill 3 weeks after surgery - why do we gotta wait 3 months???????????????????
