  1. I'm scheduled for my Band to Sleeve revision on October 3rd!! Super excited!! The ultrasound also showed that my gallbladder is full of stones so that is coming out at the same time. I'm a little apprehensive of the extensiveness of all the procedures, but am hopeful that everything will go ok and that I'll heal quickly. I have a baby that will be turning one a week after my surgery....so I feel like I can't be down for too long. I will take as long off of work as the short-term disability allows me to, but try to take it easy at home. Good luck October Sleevers!

  2. Ok...four days after first fill...today was sposed to be my second day of mushies--tomorrow "real food". I cheated on the night of my second "liquid" day and threw up---bad. On one spoonfull of really soft tuna helper (just the noodles---no tuna). Yesterday morning I tried to eat scrambled eggs and that didn't go too well. Felt "stuck" right away. So I decided I must have aggravated the band by puking the night before...so I did liquids the rest of yesterday. This morning is another repeat---except I just threw up again trying to eat the scrambled eggs. Now I KNOW I need a LITTLE unfill!!!

  3. I was banded June 17th, and I am only down 13 pounds so far. I feel really discouraged with this---mainly because I was down to 197 and now am at 201 again. People that don't know that I've had the band have commented on how much weight I've lost--though.. and the people that DO know I had the band have gone on and on about it. I know that it's only 13 pounds though---so I feel ruled by the scale. I am thinking about weighing myself once a week and focusing more on working out and eating right.

  4. Day one of my PreOP diet!! I am dying, you guys!!!! I feel like I've gone from 100mph to 0mph in a split second from all my last suppers to whey protein! I keep reading everyone saying it gets easier and easier and I'm hanging on to that with all I got!! I feel exhausted and like going home curling up and sleeping the rest of the day/night. :ihih:

  5. I have Anthem BCBS COVA CARE thru the state of VA. That is EXACTLY what my insurance coordinator did for me. Took a detailed list of all the diets that I have tried and all the co-morbidities that I have and the dr. will sign off on the letter and she has already submitted it for approval. I am kinda panicked, b/c I fully expected to have to do everything everyone else on here has had to do. Six-month supervised diet...etc...etc. NOTICE I am STILL WAITING TO HEAR ANYTHING and going insane!!!

  6. I am just starting my journey to get banded. My first seminar is tomorrow morning, my appt with sleep Doctor is Monday and my appointment with Primary Care Physician is May 7th. I am boarderline 35BMI so I have been eating everything in sight to gain a few pounds before I see the PCP. This is my first appointment with her (physical) and I've never met her before--was without PCP for this whole time. I am curious as far as what do I say to her. Any ideas? I have been writing thoughts as to my "whys" and "reasons" for doing this and my weight history. I plan to use that in talking to her, but if you all have any ideas...please let me know.
