Wow! It is sad when the people that should protect their children most hurt them! Here a young boy was taken away from his mom last year. She fed him fast food 5-7 times a day. She claimed that was all he would eat. He was 7 and over 100 lbs I believe. She was charged with child neglect, child endangerment and something else. She was given the chance to change and she absolutely refused. He was taken away from her. What you eat plays a big part is health, she didn't care.

3 days to go for surgery for me. I am getting very nervous and getting so SICK and TIRED of only protien shakes! It has been 11 days now. Grrrr.... lol...

They have a support group but I live in Jackson, so going to group there doesn't make sense. I want to find one in Ann Arbor, or Lansing or something. I don't want to go here! :Banane56: I will probly stay with them for fills as well. It makes sense I like them!

I haven't had the surgery yet. But I can tell you I researched Hurley. I talked to past paitents, hospital staff. ect. I was very picky about where I wanted to get it done. I had investigated U of M, they had too many obstacles. I also looked into Cori Center, Borgess and a few more. I liked Hurley the best and I am very happy I did. No one there makes you feel like you have done anything wrong. I choose the band because I don't want the dumping or the damage the other causes. Hairloss, dumping, vitamin defeciencies really aren't my thing!

Awww I am sorry! But just keep working and it will come back off in real lbs not just water. I get that around the time Aunt FLo comes to visit. Makes me very angry!

I have NEVER had a cute set, and I can not wait! I just hope the girls SHRINK! I have been a DDD since 13, so I am hoping I can be just a D. When I was nursing I was a GGG. NOW THAT IS PAIN! I can not wait to shop at Victoria's Secret!

Down another 2 lbs. on ther pre-op. I am sure I will be under 300 when I get the surgery! WOO HOOO! My hubby told me I'd better stop loosing or they wouldn't let me have surgery. I thought that was very sweet for a DH. :faint:

Congratulations! MY hubby graduated from there in 1995. It is a very nice base. Such a proud experience I am sure. Makes me miss military base life! :confused:

Ok I messed around this morning and tried to make something new. This one was SOO good, I made it for all 3 shakes! yummy... 1 scoop chocolate flavored protien 8 oz soy milk 1/4 bananna 1 tsp Peanut Butter (SMALL amount because of calories) 2-4 ice cubes depending on how you want consistency! It was very very good.

I love Kat! I want to get one of her portraits on my back when I loose all the weight. I love her b/w stuff. I think she is one of the only people on the planet that can make those star face tattoos look beautiful! lol.. You were so lucky to meet her! My daughter's name is Faith too! (my youngest)

I am currently seeing a chriropractor for neck pain, back pain and carpal tunnel. I just don't think it will be a good idea to get adjusted after the band. Other than maybe my neck and wrist, and then it seems like a waste of money. Does anyone continue to see the chriropractor after banding?
