    April 2008 Exercise Challenge

THAT'S BBK? NO WAY! The red hair threw me.... I'm off to go check out her latest pics right after I update my tickers.... I'm down .6 lbs and I got in an hour and a half playing volleyball last night. We kicked butt, and we were 2 players short. Needless to say, we all worked our butts off to pull it off.

What if I CANT stop losing weight.

I don't know how close to goal you are, but in all honesty, unless you're pretty close, I wouldn't worry about that just yet. It's likely that your weight loss will slow as you get closer to your goal weight. No worries!

    Bodybugg users report here!

I'll be watching for her! In case anyone is interested, the lithium batteries really do last a LOT longer than other batteries in the BB, so even though they cost more, they're worth it.

    April 2008 Exercise Challenge

I'm not digging the new format too much. I don't know who the heck she is up there....And you might try building a new ticker. I have no idea why it would do that.... I hate living in Kansas today. Wanna know why? Well, I'll tell you anyway. Because in the winter, Nebraska blows and Oklahoma sucks, and in the summer, Nebraska sucks and Oklahoma blows. The wind today is blowing 40 mph, sustained winds. It's freaking ridiculous. I'd hate being a truck driver in this shit. I'd rather drive on ice and snow than in the freaking wind.

    New Formatting Complaint

I can get used to the changes, I'm ok with that, but my only complaint would be that the "links" tab is too long now, I have to scroll my screen down after I click on it to go to my subscribed threads. The pull down tabs should be kept to where they're not longer than the screen, IMHO.

Holy CRAP! I am sort of dreading dusting off my bike (as long as no one steals the frigging thing, guess I'll have to buy some locking chains for them. Can't think of what those things are called, having a serious brain fart right now) just thinking about what that will do to my tender tushy.... BG, you're my hero!

    April 2008 Exercise Challenge

Wow, I can't believe I haven't checked in since Thursday! I did get in an hour on Thursday, Friday AND Saturday, and then I sat on my behind yesterday. Actually, I did some light housework and sat on my behind the rest of the time. I noticed yesterday that SOMEONE moved my bicycle at some point Saturday night. I haven't ridden it, and it's been parked in front of my car in my (ENCLOSED ON 3 SIDES) carport. The tires are flat, or I wonder if said someone might have stolen it. DH said he didn't move it, and I certainly haven't touched it, and we don't have any kids, so there are no other usual suspects. It was sitting IN THE WAY beside my car yesterday when we went out to go to church.

I just took it as she was closer to Ramiele than anyone else on the show because they had a lot in common. I'm not sure how else to take it??

    Freaking apple!

To all apples: UP YOURS! I am having a bit of a low blood sugar episode, 72, so not too horrible, but I do have the shakes, so.........trying to make better food choices, instead of eating candy or drinking sugary fruit juice, I decided to have an apple. Or at least part of an apple. I get a few bites into it, and now I'm stuck as hell. To top it off, my sugar still hasn't come back up yet, and I can't eat or drink anything yet. :frown:

All you people do is complain...

Yeah, the big ones are the biggest babies, aren't they? We had a 150 lb rottie that was the biggest puss you'd ever meet. Such a SMART and sweet dog. We had to put him down when he was 10 years old due to prostate cancer. That was 10 years ago, and I still cry if I think too long about him.

    American Idol '08

OK, Please don't shoot the messenger, BUT: I'd put money on David A winning, if ONLY because of all the young girls who call or text their votes in a thousand times a week. Us "old people" can't compete with their voracity for texting... Now if by some miracle he did get voted off, I bet AI's voting stats would dwindle by HALF.

All you people do is complain...

Sheesh! I had to google sato, because I didn't know what the heck breed of dog that was, LOL! I thought it was a new breed I'd never heard of...

All you people do is complain...

LMAO! Apples2, you should post a picture of that!! How funny! We have a big yellow lab, Bo, and he's 100lbs, too. He was found to have severe hip displasia at 8 months old. We give him an Ecotrin 375mg and two glucosamine tablets every morning and every night. He's 4 years old now, and he does just fine most days. Sometimes you can tell his hips are bothering him, though, so he's our spoiled rotten baby boy.

Frustrated - Husband out of work for 6 months

Well said, Wheetsin! I think it bears repeating, so I quoted the whole thing.
  20. Sleep however you're most comfortable. Most likely, though, it will be too painful to sleep on your stomach. I slept in a recliner for 5 days.

Frustrated - Husband out of work for 6 months

After 6 months, I'm not sure how nice I'd be, but one thing that comes to mind is to make him be responsible for getting all the bills paid. Make him painfully aware of the cash flow in and out. If he already does this, it might be time for a very frank conversation about the situation.

Why do manufacturers do this ???

The smart start cereal is NOT diet food. However, compared to the rice crispies, which has NO fiber and only 2 grams of Protein per serving, the smart start has 6 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein. Yes, it also has added sugar, probably to mask the taste of those "healthy additives". And I'm not sure why you are under the impression that rice krispies are a "sugary kid's cereal" They're not sweet at all, and have very little if any added sugar. This is why we need to read labels.

    American Idol '08

No, the results show is tonight. All they did last night was the Idol Gives Back crap which really got on my nerves after a while. RE: Jason Castro's song...I KNEW I'd heard that version of that song before, but I couldn't figure out where from! He did say whose version it was, but I can't remember. He didn't try to present it as an original arrangement. Like David C did with one of his songs early on.... The judges thought it was OH so original....and it was actually a cover of an Incubus version of the song. Can't even remember the song now...

total failure, can I start over?

First off, you are never a failure until you quit trying. I'm not going to give you any food advice, because you already know what you need to do there, and you've already gotten some good info from previous posters. I will, however, give you some exercise advice. If you're eating RIGHT, and getting in your exercise every day, I promise you that you won't need that mt. dew at lunchtime to get you through the afternoon. You'll be just fine without it. Exercise is SO good for the body, not just weight loss, but mood, heart health, strong bones, and a whole plethora of things. I understand that it's hard, trust me, I've been there. When I started, I could barely do 15 minutes a day, but I did it. If you can go for a 15 minute walk in the morning, and a 15 minute walk in the evening, or 10 in the morning, 10 at lunch, and 10 in the evening, then you've gotten 30 minutes in! It doesn't have to be all at once! Do what you can! You WILL feel better when you do it, I promise. I hope this helps!

i am staying on plan today because ...

I'm staying on plan today because I'm wearing out the three pairs of jeans that fit me, size 20, and I have a rather LARGE stack of jeans/pants/slacks/skirts that are size 18 just waiting for me. I don't want to have to buy more jeans in this size just because I can't stay on plan.
