  1. Haha I call them Jellyfish! I too have just recently started "sliming". It is extremely gross and hard to explain to anyone. So I explain it as what looks like a baby jellyfish in the toilet. That stuff can cause alot of discomfort that's for sure!

    TV dinners?

Yep I eat a Smart Ones or a Lean Cuisine almost everyday for lunch! I asked my dr about them because I knew the sodium was high. He said they were fine, perfect portion size. I do pretty well with them, just chew ALOT! I don't try the flat breads or pizza ones..they for sure would be stuck. I do notice this time I have to heat them up twice, by the time I get half way through its already cold
  3. Hey Thanks for the comment! and congrats on your loss!!!! I didn't have a pre-op diet so I lived it up till the very end :) good luck on the rest of your journey! :)

  12. aww well thanks. Well Congrads on getting banded. It definantly takes some adjusting to ge used to but its totally worth it. The first few weeks-month was tough for me since you don't have much restriction, you may not be the hunger stage yet and some ppl never do. But once you start getting your fills you really start to see how the band works. Its amazing!! I don't see the progress myself, which is why I take the pictures and even at that I still don't beleive I look that way. But pics don't lie! for the good or the bad. I think you will really enjoy your new life with the band :) Good luck to you and keep me posted on how you are doing! can't wait to see some progress pics! :)

  14. Thanks for the pic comment!! How are you doing with your band so far?

  15. Thanks for the pic comment! I had Dr. Eibes with United Healthcare for insurance. Are you banded now?

  16. Thanks for the pic comment :) I started at 244 in July and am now at 209. I have about another 50 lbs to lose. HOw are you doing with yours??

  17. I am somewhat in the same boat as you. I beat myself up every single day because I know I'm eating more than I should be. I still eat significantly less then before the band, but def more than desired. I haven't been a snacker up untill this last week or two so I usually have a protein bar, a shake or a 100 calorie pack if needed. However, my dr told me not to count calories, just to make good decisions. Well From being a previous hard core dieter on every diet you can imagine, it's hard to do that. Its hard to not count them or worry about them. But with me eating bigger portions than necessary I feel I may have sabatoged myself. Don't get me wrong, I still look up nutritional values before I go out to eat somehwere, and I still make good choices. I went in for my last fill (5ccs in a 10cc band) and I had lost 11 lbs in 4 weeks so the didn't give me a fill. While I should have been excited I knew deep down I probably needed one. I have only lost between 6-8 (scale fluctuates daily it seems) since then so in 5 weeks. I called to move my fill up a week becuse im terrified of gaining anything. I feel like I keep hving to give myself pep talks and I shouldn't be, its becuse deep down I know Im not giving it my all. So I go in a for a fill today, and starting off tomorrow I am back at this 100% I need to drop another 20 by Xmas  I hope anyway. So you are not alone, for some odd reason that helps i think to not feel like a faliure and your the only one having these problems. Good luck to you, you can do it  :tt2:
