Hi everyone, Hope everyone is doing well we are almost at our 1 year anniversary! I know I am feeling like I am not loosing enough! I had hoped to be at a loss of 100 by now when I first got banded however I am finding I am at a stand still for the last few months.. I am thinking its time for a fill! I guess the good news is I haven't gained anything but I wish I was at least 20 pounds lighter!

I can't wait to get my second fill on 05/03 and hope for some rescrition.I was where you are too....and I was so upset...but like everyone told me just wait it out....and the scale will start moving soon....try to focus on the nsv...my pants were all getting baggy on me and the scale was the same.....Its moving now !!! and yours will too !

I am feeling a little discouraged. I had my first fill on 04/03 and got 4cc's. I dont feel any restriction and have not lost a pound. I can eat just about anything I want but I watch what I eat and count all intake. I don't know what to do!

Thats great you all are doing so well! I have been afarid to try fruits and lettuce. I have been wanting a salad so bad! But I was told to stay away from lettuce. I have been able to eat baked chicken pretty well and lunch meat as long as i chew and chew and chew. Green Beans are okay too. I am always hungry! I cant wait to get my first fill.

I have found two really good cook books to help me learn what to eat through each stage of the lap band. They have really helped me.

I am hoping to get my first fill when I go back to the doctor next week on the 20th. He said he will see how I feel and we can go from there. Did anyone have to be on Clear liquids the day before the first fill?

Today makes 4 days post op and I am feeling like something is poking me on the inside. It feels like when I was pregnant and the boys foot would sit under your breasts and it was so uncomfortable. Has anyone had this feeling?

I just got home had surgery yesterday morning. I ended up having to stay the night since I was in extreme pain. I was surprised since everyone's always posting how easy and painless it went. Why was I so unfortunate?? I did everything right with my pre op diet :,( and I'm usually pretty pain tolerate. All they gave me was 5 cc of liquid Percocet my surgeon never came and checked on me i was so scared and alone until they finally let my mom in and see me FOUR hours later. The scars don't hurt it's more inside of my stomach that hurts. Im a million times better today thnk god and im relieved this is finally over with. I know everybody's different and I don't mean to scare anyone that hasn't gone in yet, but I suggest arranging plans for Meds incase you stay the night cus since my doctor left they couldn't give me anything that worked. Sorry for the rant but I had to get it out, because today is the first day of my new life and I believe the hardest part is over. Thnx for listening guys xoxo
Stace2882 I'm with you. I was banded on the 27th and its my surgeons policy for an overnight stay. I was in so much pain from the gas and port site. Today as a better day but still lots of gas evern though I am walking. I know its only temporary and it gets better for all us from here. Good Luck to you.

Today was a much better day on the pre op liquid diet. I wasnt so hungry switched the boost shakes for the Atkins. Thanks to kissme drinking lots of water! That does help allot!
-
Thanks kissme i'm pre op. Today I was thinking about trying the fruit smooties that yoplait have with the frozen fruit and you add skin milk to blend. Not sure if this would be okay. I am drinking one boost in the morning. My doc said to limit them becasue of calories have to stay under 1000.

I also want to be 100 pounds lighter. But my fist goal is 25 pounds lighter. Today was my first day of liquids and boy is this hard! I am always hungry. Do you guys and any suggestions?
