  1. Hi everyone, Hope everyone is doing well we are almost at our 1 year anniversary! I know I am feeling like I am not loosing enough! I had hoped to be at a loss of 100 by now when I first got banded however I am finding I am at a stand still for the last few months.. I am thinking its time for a fill! I guess the good news is I haven't gained anything but I wish I was at least 20 pounds lighter! :D

I am hoping to get my first fill when I go back to the doctor next week on the 20th. He said he will see how I feel and we can go from there. Did anyone have to be on Clear liquids the day before the first fill?

  5. I just got home had surgery yesterday morning. I ended up having to stay the night since I was in extreme pain. I was surprised since everyone's always posting how easy and painless it went. Why was I so unfortunate?? I did everything right with my pre op diet :,( and I'm usually pretty pain tolerate. All they gave me was 5 cc of liquid Percocet my surgeon never came and checked on me i was so scared and alone until they finally let my mom in and see me FOUR hours later. The scars don't hurt it's more inside of my stomach that hurts. Im a million times better today thnk god and im relieved this is finally over with. I know everybody's different and I don't mean to scare anyone that hasn't gone in yet, but I suggest arranging plans for Meds incase you stay the night cus since my doctor left they couldn't give me anything that worked. Sorry for the rant but I had to get it out, because today is the first day of my new life and I believe the hardest part is over. Thnx for listening guys xoxo

Stace2882 I'm with you. I was banded on the 27th and its my surgeons policy for an overnight stay. I was in so much pain from the gas and port site. Today as a better day but still lots of gas evern though I am walking. I know its only temporary and it gets better for all us from here. Good Luck to you.

  6. Thanks kissme i'm pre op. Today I was thinking about trying the fruit smooties that yoplait have with the frozen fruit and you add skin milk to blend. Not sure if this would be okay. I am drinking one boost in the morning. My doc said to limit them becasue of calories have to stay under 1000.
