  1. Lets put my PCOS and IR out of my thoughts. The way I see it is that this is a huge life change it is the tool that most of us need to make losing weight and keeping it off a reality. For me this is what I not only want but need I have tried all the diets and it worked for a while and then I fail I don't want that yo yo diet anymore I want to be successful in this not only for me but for my family.


  2. So I have an apt with the lap-band surgeon on the 30th of April. I am scared that he is going to tell me that I can not get the band. My Doc told me I needed a 35 or higher BMI and I have a 40. but all the on-line research I have done said that it is 40 or higher. But I do have Insulin resistance and PCOS and my health other wise is good I just weigh 229. So I am freaking out I need this I need something that is going to help me and this is the life change I need.


  3. Hi I am here in colorado springs my hubby is in the Army here at Fort carson. I am 27 235 pounds and a BMI of 41.5 I went yesterday to my Doc and he put my referral in to Tri Care For the lap band I am so happy. I was on WW for 7 months lost 25 pounds and it all came back in the matter of weeks I have insulin resistance and PCOS.
